We only forcus on a swing ard 30-40pips for the setup to be valid ?

Yes it must be minimum 30-40 pips to be a qualified swing, for a setup to be valid you need qualified pullback to go along with it (retrace of 38% no more than 60%).

Thank you for your prompt reply. How about a swing which has ard 70-90pips? Do you skip them ?

depends on the pullback and how it has shaped up and in which wave it is, genrally i am more carfull with those but again you'll test it with knowing that it is not the most ideal setup and your risk is higher, so you trade manage it tighter more carfull. goes back to the trade expectancy.

Please, everyone read and really absurb and understand this trade expectancy post by feb, belive me when I tell you, it worths millions of dollars.
give me your oppinion on this if you like ( we can chat alittle since the market has flattend out for now)

Thanks again. I was wondering if you guys consider to include your spread when you place few pips at the breakout for pending order ?

and one more thing Dim, in this particular situation i would like to see a little longer swing with out such tail at the end.
Ideal swing would have been longer than last low and then a pullback for a solid setup.

I go 3 pips plus the spread, that why E/U is even more to our advantage since the spread is lower than rest. mine is only 2 pips

Alright great, i use 3pips + spread too. Missed out the setup on GU .....but i shall wait for another bus...no hurry

Last question.....do you guys place ur SL at 50% or you have a hard stop at 20 pips or 30pips ?

I personally place my stop above/below pullback, not more than 28 pips.
