Semi automatic EA (Driven Version)

Ohh yesss, emotions emotions..., turn them off is the hardest thing when real money is in the game. I stopped using H4 at all. Mabey not the smartest thing, but it confuses me so many times couse I got oposite signal than in daily. So witch one to listen!!? G/Y candle might end up with doji today, I guess Pound strenght is weakening, I just might go short on G/U tomorrow...waiting for confirmation...will see

I have a Red arrow and formation of red candle on EU daily. Does anyone know if these repaint?

My observations re Sunday (Monday Asia) are that in most cases, the price continues with what it was doing on Friday.

All last week we had huge long runs against the US$, so it's no surprise that a retracement or reversal was imminent.

And I've also noticed that the majority of reversals or big moves, happen at the 8 am EST NY open. Check a 4 hour chart and you'll see that the 8 am candle is the big one. The next biggest one is the London open at 4 am EST. There are other turnaround points, but none as big and consistent as the 8 am NY open. Open a 4 hour chart and check the past history to confirm it.

That's what happened this morning on all the major pairs. I believe the GBP/USD will continue to drop at least to a 38% Fibo retracement point @ around 1.4600.

Blow out day for every1 I suppose (same here) - closed out all the trade today, market will do its thing but the important thing is that we need to be prepared.
Scalpz the data quality I am getting is 50% I have tried downloading 1min data from Alpari Databank but it is not possible right now (need to call them and ask why) and I am using the strategy tester in MT4.

I am from 9ja but I am living in London (currently)

I was trying to stress test (if that is right to call it) the system this weekend but checking if I didnt close out the trade one day after a trend change but I was able to catch the begining of the trend how bad could it get. The results (for GBPUSD the only pair i have tested) still shows that FB will still put me in profit (proper position sizing ofcourse). So that gave me a lot of confidence not to worry too much about those bad days. Also I was reading a little write up (7 habits of highly sucessful trader) over the weekend and one thing really got thru to me many traders abandon systems because they dont really know what kind of bad days it could have. So I was more or less prepared for todays action.
So I will suggest every1 again put their trend change system to test ... test it for all possible scenarios (if u cant get access to ur platform for 1 or two days how bad can it get, when trend changes and u have to close all lossing trades how bad can it get). And also the most important one money management, whats the average number of trades FB takes and if there is a massive movement (it continues to take trades) and they all hits the SL how much of your account will go with that (position sizing guys).

I am using the default setings but I've changed the TP to 1000 (for USDJPY, GBPJPY and 500 for EURJPY) , SL 3000, Divergent Limit 0.005 (instead of 0.002) but I need more clarification from Gasgas
NB I am driving using the FB template posted on the 1st post (agreement of direction between the candle colour and the arrow)

Sorry, can't tell couse I really didn't test them and don't use them. I stop EA trading manually always. They are about closing trades automaticaly, I have all that on default and 'false'.

I guess we should be back on the LONG run on GU, its bounced off the 20 day MA, but not sure if its for long though.

I am as well. There wasn't much going on in the early am. I managed to catch 80 pips and then turned the FB off until later this morning.

Positif news form GBP make me confuse...

I don't have a sell arrow on the GBP chart. What settings are you using for the 5-8 openEma indicator. I am using the 5,8 setting right now. I have not shorted the GBP because I don't have confirmation of the down trend arrow (see attached chart).

I am shorting the the EURUSD as of zero GMT time 4/7/09 and have 100 pips so far.

Strange I don't have sell arrow or red candle on GBP. Could this be due to different brokers? I use Fxdd.

FB has not open any positions on Eu yet. Turned it on again this morning around 8am California time.

Mine opened a trade at 12:48 gmt time which is 7:48 am Eastern Daylight Time U.S. I think this would be 4:48 am pacific time U.S. I think you just missed it.

Eu hasn't done much today. It's been hovering between support and pivot.

I've been driving the EUR/JPY on its downward journey. 3 winning trades so far for, 188, 166, 66 pips.

I'm in a sell on the GBP/USD and USD/JPY too.

My setting is 1,2 but when its too choppy I filter it with 5,8....
