Looks like I will seriously have to keep an eye on my broker.

Either that or the demo account I am testing this system on is out of order.

The Mt4 Platform is ODL Japan the other one is FX Online.
I have had my suspicions about FX online in the past but now I am wondering which one is truly messing around.

There can't be this much difference in a signal on a H1 TF, can there?

I wonder why no Ea has been written for this simple amazing system.I wish I knew how to write a program

I started coding one 2 days ago..but i'm not very good at programming so it may take some time..

I don't think it has been explained clear enough for an EA. When do you enter? When do you exit?

My first code will do the following:

Open order when the 2 SMMA crosses. If price moves 40 pips past entry, move client side stop on entry, for a no risk run.
If price goes other direction close at loss and open on new signal.

Obviously the first EA will be a loser, but it will be a start for changes.

I already have one that places trades on this signal but it has a few bad problems because i was experimenting with some different kind of logic.

I think i will rewrite one from scratch as the system is so easy.

I've been working on this particular setup and have refined it a bit to make it applicable to the 15M charts. The current setup as explained by Glenn is fine and will work brilliantly as is. But if, like me, you are too impatient to trade 1H charts, simply follow the rules below, while keeping the 1H setup in place without modification. Simply change your 1H chart to 15M, and enjoy a little more activity. Here's how I see it:

Most of you already have this setup. Others who want it please ask here and I'm sure others will help you get your charts in order. I prefer not to start a brand new thread and don't really have the time to start another thread or post these indicators(I believe they have already been posted earlier in this thread). You need:

2MA Simple weighted close (HLCC/4) Red
5MA Simple weighted close (HLCC/4) Black

Only pivot (prevdayandfloatingpivot) indicator
Fibonacci pivots indicator
SpudFibo indicator

FX Sniper Ergodic 4,8,5,4

You don't need the arrows

You MUST be able to determine trend in whatever way you like. For example, I use a 4-hr stoch, set to 5,3,3 on another monitor, along with a 1H laGuerre. Choose your own method. 50 EMA also works nicely and serves the purpose well. Trade only with the trend.

The Setup:

If set up correctly, you will have MANY lines on your chart, both Fibs and S&R lines, as well as the daily "only pivot." We're going to use these lines ONLY as targets and stop losses. By using these lines as our targets, we will maximize profits and minimize losses. Read and then refer to attached chart. Should be very clear, and easy to understand.

First, look for a clear MA cross (2x5).
Price must cross the upper MA (2MA)
Price must cross the most recent line by at least 10 pips
FX sniper blue line should have clearly crossed the red line and be headed up for best setup (does not have to be above zero).
When everything is in place, you have a good setup.

Enter trade.
Count two (2) lines up and set TP at that line.
Count one line down from the line crossed by price when you entered and set SL to this line.

Go make yourself a nice espresso and figure out what you're going to do with all that money.

Try it on a demo and if you like it, start out with 25-cent trades until you're comfortable. Then you can go big time. Some trades will fail, more should give you profit. The chart I've provided would have given you a profit of 75 pips on the first trade, another 43 if you took it higher, for a total of 118 pips profit.

AND PLEASE -- NO EA's. Once the discussion moves from trading to coding an EA, I will surely check out.

Basically i think the original H1 system is a good system. But if you miss the entry arrow that appeared several hours ago, the arrow itself does not give you much confidence to enter a position NOW. I'm wondering if your M15 system is more tradable in a turbulent market and the H1 system is more tradable in a one-way market? Thanks.

Thanks for posting that script thunderwolf ... works Great in my book ... everything on one window and broker invisible ..... outstanding ... thanks for sharing it ... has been working on the gbp/yen , eur/jpy with it , 15-min. window ... ... hitting my 20 pip mark and closing half, reset stop to 30 then trail by 50 -60 and let is ride ... am extremely happy with the results .... don't even care if i get spiked out , my 20 pip mark is usually hit and trailing stop has covered to break even by then because i'm on the 15-min window .... i can let it ride or follow it by changing window times from 15 to 30 to 1hr.... to see if indicator on trading platform is still in favor of my trade ... if it changes i'm out .... Over all i'm collecting some great pips because of the indicator ... again thanks ..... buffalopip....

Back test is no use for this system. Cos the Prevday and floating pivot keeps on repaint as the price builds.However seems to be profitable when use with GBP/JPY targeting at 100 pips per trade depending on market bias. Manage to capture 400 pips for this pair last week. becareful though when it goes ranging and high volatilty. Watch your money management at make sure u place your stop loss at a strategic point......

lol i had completely forgotten, because i had an enlightment about an old system of mine and am starting to code that...

But yes i had put together a rewrite of this system, just have some patience, i have the bad habit of starting too many things at once.

ok this is my first week trying this system. im long at 147.05 as the 1hr and the 4hr have crossed up. my tp is only 50 pips as thats all i need from day to day. if i can do this consistantly day in and day out i can be very profitable in the long run. gy will give you 50 pips for sure everyday. as theres no need to be greedy. my sl is 146.76. tp is 147.55 hopes this helps. i will now sleep as its almost 10pm pst. i live in wa state for those of you wondering. hopefully my tp will be honored. will see in the morning when i wake up.
