The only trade so far. Short GU on upward wave. Price failed to make new high on the latest bull move. I have to ignore my 15m trix and only look 5m TF when enter this trade. Out early as I feel this is still struggling condition.

Re-short on GU. Not much but seems appropriate on current volatility.

But on EU, I got little burnt out . This trade was on possitive area but I'm too bussy manage my GU trade and suddenly retrace and failed to make new low. I'm poorer -9 pips with this one.

Cobra and the rest of the team I would like to express my deapest tnx to you all. You have again made excelent job again. THV trix is a important element in my everyday trading so I am very happy to see that you guys have again improved it a lot. So many tnx to you again and many pips to you all.

... I would like to see rectangles instead of squares in the MTF indicators... for larger timeframes... for example... if we are at timeframe 1 and we have the 5M indicator... we have to see a rectangle of 5 squares... not 5 squares of the same color.... that would remind you the repainting issue of MTF indicators... they all look great when you analyze trades in the past but fordward testing is not the same... that's why you can't use them for EA's.

Should I have stayed out because of the 2 bear divergences?

As soon as I exit my current short it's time for breakfast...
Nice push up to my target in the 131.50ish area.
Out of the long for 90+
Shorting for a scalp with BE+20 already

THV rocks...although I've done this many times here it comes again!

One thing you can use these indies for is to see how strong the trend is, and where you are in it. When you see that all 10 bars have just gone green, you are probably at the beginning of a reasonably strong trend, and you can probably get away with going long even if you see a negative divergence (though I personally don't do it unless I see a good reason, like a strong break of a pivot or the like). When you look at the top 1m row, you can count the number of alternating red and green waves since all bars have gone green. If you see three or four of those red/green waves, and a couple of negative divergences in a row, it's more risky to go long. even if you have 6 points.

Congratulations on your new indicators. They make a very good system even much better.

What a great team you have here. It has always been a pleasure to read your thread and follow the developments which have taken place since the beginning.

To all members of the team what a great job. Trading is becoming less stressful knowing that one is relying on a system put together by experts.

Hi Emda,

Indeed you cannot use the MTF indicators for manual backtesting by looking at the chart, because the information they provide looks different when recalced on load than it does when accumulated in real time, as Tradewell explained earlier. In fact, anything that initializes the indicator will cause it to recalc. Changing a setting or even clicking on it and then clicking ok will cause it to repaint.

But all that is missing the point. The point of these indicaters are to enable you to see what the Trix is doing in the other time frames in real time, without having to click on the other charts so that you can get an idea of the trend, and trade accordingly. If you are scalping the 1m, knowing what the trix is doing on the 5 m and 15m timeframes right now without having to click to other screens is valuable, possibly even more so than knowing 15 minutes from now, what would have done, with certainty.

My long position on E/J circles around 131.20 now for nearly 2 hours. Looking at the daily chart I saw a strong S&R hit several times, especially the end of last year.

Closed half position and stay BE+, lets look where it goes

Here is a method popularized on this thread by Jharteam. Good for about 25 pips if you used the parallels, median line expections and the MTF Histo lights. I did not get them all but enough.
