currency trading ?

Hello i have been quite successful in currency trading but would like to become more professional , i was wondering what reports i needed to read on a regular basis and how one gets them in order to made an educated idea of where the currencies are going.

Buddy, if you are quite successful in currency trading, you should know what reports to read on a regular basis and how to deal with them.
So with that logic, I don't think you're "quite successful"

If you are already successful in what your doing, why screw it up?
Sometimes not knowing other outside forces is better. Keeps the mind
clean to do what works. Keep it simple, adding more info can backfire
sometimes. Just try and better what you are doing now as long as
it works.

well i read news clips from newspaper i wasnt trying to blow my own horn , i am interested in this field and would just like i little bit of guidance that is all.

If you are "quite successful" without any report, what makes you think you'll be "a helluva lot successful" with one? I think the only report the majority of us read was our equity balance report, or our own trades report.

Probably had 2 winning trades in a row.

geeze take it easy on the posters. quite successful means different things to different people. Some of the dumbest people alive make millions per year.. Ive seen it. maybe the guy is a natural.

i am not a natural , but i made 20 k last week the only reason i want to pursue this is because i find it interesting and i think i made the money purely on luck and gut instinct but i would still like to learn more.

All you guys know more than me , but i do see a lot of hostility towards me , so please chill out , if you dont want to help dont reply to my thread

For a starter, nicki, "hostility" is part of the game. You got it when you asked dumb questions. Look back at your first post:

Claiming some achievement in one sentence and asking for guidance in the next...you can try and justify them whatever you like but, in this forum, it is a dumb questions and asked for "hostility," not "hospitality." And, bad news, boy, you play by the house rules, not yours.

20k last week may be some achievement worth mentioning for you. But a lot of us have our 20k in some weeks along our journey. By the way, how much is your starting capital? 20k from 1k starting capital is a helluva lot, 20k from 20KT starting capital is nothing. 20k a week for 1 full year maybe worth mentioning here, 20k a week for a month trading experience...you should know it yourself by now.

Besides, by seeing hostility instead guidance underneath tells us that you are more interested in how we say it rather that what we said. Clearly you never heard, "Trade what you see and not what you want to see." Focusing on how we say it is equal to "see what you want to see." It won't wash, boy.

And last but not least...we're here to help you hone your trading skills, not to caressing your ego. Because market won't do that to you either.

I don't have any daily or weekly reports to suggest, but Currency Trader magazine usually has a few articles about individual currencies and the fundamentals currently driving them. Just google Currency Trader magazine. It's free.

I have got some advice for you, not sure how much help it would be for you. I'm studying for a degree in economics at the moment, first year of study. I'm aiming to end up on the trading floor after studying. So during the holidays i'm looking for internships at financial institutions and companies. It depends on what qualifications you have? How long you been trading? etc...

I like to read "The Economist, and also some academic papers on subjects that spark my interest. Most articles you find online, are just opinions, and they aren't any more important than yours or mine...

Yeah The Economist is a good read , just wish it didn't cost as much.
