The key to your setup , as always, was the location. Off of recent Daily and Weekly Highs. A must if your trading off the 4 hour time frame. ( along with Daily/Weekly PPZs, Fibs, etc)

I was watching this pair at h1. I got stopped out at he small pb up. but i found a/j bounced at a "wow" magic area.

Didn't close as a PB.

Heavy selling pressure near 99.50, there must be TONS of sell orders at 100.00, it remember me the EUR/USD battle at 1.6000..... Tomorrow we´ll see what the bulls are made of......

Start on the weekly (and even the Monthly) and find where the flips occur. Then go to the Daily and fine tune them to the nearest round number, unless there are strong ones near the .50.

It's interesting what pops out when you go down to the 4 hour time frame at these levels.

should "base 10" (1.2520, 1.2540, 1.2570 etc.), "base 25" (1.2525, 1.2575 & the likes) prices be ignored altogether? Thanks

Hey Artov

The bar itself is a good pinbar but the location is not what we look for ideally. That type of pinbar(bullish) we want to find at a swing LOW point. In your chart that is towards a swing high point.

alter,
jpy crosses are in a downtrend, volatile to say the least. u should have either abandoned that PB or at least moved stop quickly to BE if u had the chance.

Remember these are "zones"/ "areas". The round number also act as psychological level to many traders.

Just a quick word here. If you're new to this thread and the J16 method, I'd advise (as I'm sure would the senior members) that you focus on the Daily and Weekly charts to start off with. Definitely don't go below 4h, otherwise you're just going to see pin bars everywhere. Without a full understanding on where it's best to see this price action occuring, you'll quickly see your imaginery $'s dissappearing (because you're demo'ing this stuff first, right? )

I would also add further to what Mike had said artov, could you show your Daily PPZ levels and how they relate to the location of that PB.
