Bulls come but still not break a 1h TL. For weeks, I'm still asking myself where will she go? Btw, that last bull move hit my SL

Exactly, you nail it.

It makes no sense that a reader of a thread needs to go through posts like we had here lately.

We should keep this thread for educational purpose and doing our best to show how to trade successfully.

I love some jokes between the lines as well and miss our friend Gofer but he’ll be back soon.

I’m sure that all future posts will follow this target and we get back to calm and peace.

Thanks for the contribution of all serious posters, I still add traders on my buddy list, give me some time please.

Lol thanks TW. You're very good in motivating a new trader. No problem at all it hit my SL, I begin to take a loss just as easy as my TP. We always learn when our SL hit. Sometimes ten times profit in a row does not always good for a new trader like me. I learn more from loss than profit.

Yup. hunting a little short now esp on 5m bear div on cable.

I am using a simulator to train and study the system THV ...

I just hold a trader from Sell to hit the StopLoss ... I wonder if the more experienced of my input was wrong ...

If the answer is "Yes", where I missed?

I find that on the M5 you have to enter divergence trades early as they are not typically long-lived.

I also would have wanted to know what the M15 was showing. Also I do not know what the S&R's were for that day.

Otherwise it is not a particularly bad entry, but I don't have enough information to say whether I would have made the trade.

Add: I noticed too your other trendline. Perhaps it was a stronger trendline, maybe visible on higher timeframes.

EXACTLY. this bloody guy should be blocked as well. Cobra, I fully enjoyed your post regarding that 'piece of sh**'. The first reaction I got when I saw his post was, "what the hell was he trying to proof?!!". Though I am relatively new here but I'm VERY much disturbed by these lurkers, thieves (where I know there are lots of them here) who were trying to steal people's original trading ideas and inventions; and along in doing that, like you have mentioned; disturbed my mood in participating and trading. Yes, Cobra, I'm not on your buddy list and you can even banned me for having the right to participate on posting as well. That said, I STILL maintain my support on your decision on these 'piece of sh**t and block these low lives for good. Take care.

For my opinion ( I can't see the 15M Trix because it's a simulator trade) that was a well thought out trade but even those sometimes end in SL.

You can calculate about 35% of good looking trades end up like that, it's normal and part of the business.

I can't understand why these people don't spend their energy TRADING!
Surely that is the idea here? - To trade, make money and even perhaps change your lifestyle.

How do they expect to do that by hacking code? What's the point. Their energies are spent in the wrong direction and probably have been all their lives.
That is why people like these never succeed. They can't focus on the job at hand and want easy fixes.

It's like the guy and the repainting issue. Who gives a toss! Just trade it and make money. Academics you see! All talk and can't trade!

Where I am entering trades is costing me a lot of pips, need some help. I have attached two charts, one EUR/USD other USD/JPY.

On the U/J i missed a big run up @ R1, I was waiting for it to bounce on the pivot before entering, then it shot up. If you look closely the fast trix is red at that moment. I've been reading up on Gann and I think he has left me second guessing my entries.

E/J missed opportunity @ R1

On the E/U I correctly shorted at FPV, but missed the nice run up once it hit MS1, both trix red at the time, waited to follow THV rules, bounce off pivot, passed through cloud, I entered the trade (market+10pip trail) and it stopped me out, then ran up like crazy. Its like the market always spikes to hit your stops, very aggrevating, so what do you guys do to avoid this, i hate to add a 20/30 pip trail I could lose my butt in the process.

E/U missed opportunity @ MS1

I am a little frustrated with my trades today, I was a little impatient with my trading, your commentary is appreciated. How do I get more accurate entries? what type of order are you guys using to enter trades? My stops are killing me but i hate to have a huge trail because it can cost me a lot of pips. I need some advice.

Great! Now that the dorks are out of the picture, let's get back to work....

Here was a beautiful trade...

I want to point out, as TW mentioned, Divergence in the 1 min and 5 min are mostly shortlived, sometimes they do go for a nice ride, but usually it requires some anticipation since the arrow shows up after the move is on it way....

anyhow:

Considerations:

1.) Bouce of PA off of R1
2.) 5 min showing bearish divergence
3.) 1 min Bearish Divergence, THV Confirmation and break of Trendline...

Good for 10 - 20 pips or more depending where it goes now...

If I could wait the whole day just for double divergence confirmation, I would be....very, very happy LOL....

Thank you for your kind words. Whether I have another vouch or not don't really matter to me. A trader will always be a trader disregard of the amount of vouches one get in FF. it's all in the attitude and behavior. On the E/U....I entered the trade (market+10pip trail) and it stopped me out, then ran up like crazy....
A 10 pip trailing stop is way too tight. A better way is to wait until price has moved 15-20 pips (I use M1 ATR*3) then put you stop at entry and take 1/4 to 1/2 profit. That way you won't be stopped out as easy and will have locked in profit.

When you are frustrated and impatient, stop trading, step back, and reassess. When I am confused, I just start looking at charts of other TF to see what kind of trade I may be waiting for. If still confused, take a break, go for a walk, etc. to get new perspective. Some days like today are harder to find a good entry. Learn how to recognize those and avoid trading them unless fully confident.
