Nice trade HP,looking back my chart didn't get a green bar till 08.00 gmt (07.00 BST) ,the close of the 04.00 candle today.

Yup, still have a pulse.....just a bit of spring break rest and relaxation .

I would like to thank Phil for his excellent end of day wrap up. It made me go and have another look at the GBP 4 hour chart. One of the first things that I noticed is the formation of symetrical triangle (at least at the moment). Also noticed that price is being held back by a previous area of reasonably strong resistance from back a ways (1.9722 price pivot area). However, currently that resistance area seems to me to be showing some weakness (higher lows forming the triangle bottom and the pullbacks from resistance have not been as deep as they were way back when this area was resistance.). An old stock market swing trader would also say "symetrical triangles with price coming in from the bottom tend to breakout to the up side". A break to the upside (which is what I favour) would give a target of 1.9850 ish. Of course, the market will do what it wants, so I am also prepared to take a downside breakout through 1. 9571 ish. Phil is right....something is definately brewing and we will hopefully see some good signals in the not to distant future..

Due for a retracement,this guy has an evening star in formation on the 1 hour chart along with a R/T. I am not saying its ready to trade, but the signs are beginning to form. Nothing solid on the 4 Hr yet however it is looking good so far. Just keep an eye on it. I don't know if you consider that a double top on the 1 hour, if anyone can help me with the double top thing I would appreciate it.

Reason for this alert: It has broken 2 counter trend lines and has tested both on the 15 min chart.

I just pulled fibs on this retracement and If it continues, I would expect it to go to the 38.2 % level, which would be approx. 156.65..........and that just happens to be right about where the 21 EMA is on the 4 hour chart.

we are getting there, aren't we, Jim? I closed 1 lot, moved 2nd one to breakeven. It can take a break here @157.02 or shake off the shorts. Just stay nimble. Long time, no see.

Yes Tamera, I have an aggressive trend line on my 15 minute chart. I will sit out the retracement and it should come over and bounce off my trendline, where I will put 2 more lots on, By the way, did you see the little nesting dragonfly that Pips showed me.

I believe euro is in demand in Asia. It bounced off the trendline. The target can be .3369-75.

edit: based on MACD strategy need to wait for the close of 4HR bar, i.e. 125 minutes remaining. I prefer sleeping to trading, he-he.

I jumped into US/CH long.

It goes with the trend.
It broke above a res level at 2191.
MACD TC signal

and now......8:00 AM EST it is forming a pin bar (short signal!!!!! arrggg!!!!)
Well....two hours to go before the candle completes.
Hopefully the news will be US positive.
