does MB Trading allow residents of Alberta to have an account? I know I need picture ID with address and one other thing like a utility bill? What other document can I use instead of a utility bill? Will having a bank account in alberta be enough?

Justin, first off, I've just completed a full year w/ you guys and so far so good....except, the demo environment kinda sux, no, really sux. I like to demo different strategies while I trade my own but I'm running into so many problems w/ your demo environment, stops not getting hit, orders not picking up, orders disappearing, etc.,etc., that I'm now resigned to the fact that I'll have to sign up for a demo at the dreaded FXCM just so I can demo trade. This sux. I want to demo in the same environment I would live. Bottom line: I cannot assess the viablility of a trading strategy when the demo environment doesn't give me accurate results.

My questions are: will these problems be fixed any time soon. Also, will I have these same problems w/ MetaTrader in the demo environment?

Thanx
Max

Hi Justin,

or anyone else can answer. My EA trades perfectly on the backtester but wont take any trades on the live demo until I remove the stoploss and take profit. I have given it nice big values, I know some brokers don't like tight take profits.

I have done some testing and the "Point" is returning the value of zero when it should be 0.00001 for a five digit broker. I tested it on an ibfx demo and it works fine and the point returns 0.0001.

Is anyone else experiencing this or am I going crazy?

Is it possible with MBT to have long and short operations opened at the same time on the same pair? Only with 2 accounts?

no problem here, use a TTO or a limit order with the amount that you want to use. MBT doesn't care how you trade or even if you trade,

Sounds like you are trying to hedge, which is not possible on the MBT Navigator. However, many clients choose to open two accounts linked to one username. This allows them to log in only once, while toggling back and forth between the accounts without the need to log out.

Justin,

What documents does MB Trading requires when setting up a new account? If I have a drivers license from toronto and a bank account there is that sufficient? Are po boxes allowed as the primary address? Is the paperwork etc. all the same if I setup a corporation in toronto to open an account with? Is leverage always 100:1? When do you expect MT4 to be up and running?

Thanks,

Ricky

Hello guys,
I would be interested to know which charts feed you're using to trade stocks and futures with mbtrading, until the release of the new mt4 platform ? I'd rather like one with GMT or GMT+1 hour (london time), if possible.

Hello,
I've a question like in title,
my hot keys in mb navigator alone work well,
but when I try to use ninjatrader with mb navigator,
hot keys don't work, even if focus is on window with navigator.
Is it normal feature?
How to get around with this?
Maybe open ninjatrader with mb navogator to connect to data,
close mb navigator window
and open mb navigator as stand alone to trade?
Sincerely
Janusz
