Thank you Cobra....I didn't know why you were hiding the code and giving out the ex4 only...Are you planning to make an ea to sell? it will be really great to let other know...maybe there are some people who would like to work on it for a better trading..."Turhovach" shared would you allow me to share it too ? I just need your permission please ...a friend on another forum want me to upload it in their indicators directory...

Cobra........thank you for the compliment in this post ! But I would never ask for code. I have been here at FF too long and have seen too many good trading methods (and threads) compromised because somebody was greedy; taking free information combined with the hard work and research done by others and turning it into an excuse to ask for money.

I've said it before and will repeat; besides providing a great intraday trading strategy, you and your collaborators have done ALL of this without asking for any $$$. What a novelty in a greedy world. And along the way you have suffered the questions and requests from people who seem unable to: download files, work with MT4, bother to read the instructional pdf, Google answers to their simple questions or for that matter do much more than read a few posts and then ask someone to teach them how to trade.

Keep up the good work !!! (Cobra and all the other great contributors !!! )

I want to repeat, I share the system but not the mq4 files for reasons I mentioned before.

If there are well known traders as Ronald Raygun, Zen, Ak4x, BeachBum, LuckyLurker, hanover etc. I have no problem to give them the files but traders with poor or no history not.

I'm not the original coder of the THV indicators but with the help of good coders we could modify them to the needs of THV, the original ones can be find in the net.

I hope that this is clear now once for ever.

Cobra has many times said that the system would always be free.
The only reasons behind only giving the ex4 are simple:

1) He doesn't want other people to "steal" the system and sell it on e-bay or such as their own.

2) He wants THV3 users to employ the same settings so everybody will be having the exact same charts and this will facilitate discussion and evaluation of each one's trades and charts.

On the other hand, it would be a better idea to separate any EA discussion from the main THV3 thread to avoid confusion and diversion from the regular activity of the thread.

If you want to make an EA, the THV team is open to work with you on it.

Only requierement is to post it for free, like everything we are doing here.

If your offer is serious drop me an email and lets see what are your ideas.

I don't believe in EA's as the "feeling" of a trader can't get replaced with a robot, but who knows?

I will never sell anything related to FX, I just don't need it (I make enough $$$ on piping), and if I ever had the plan to charge for anything we (the THV Team) are presenting here I would already have done so.

CC repeated my reasons not to post mq4 files and cracking them isn't the best reputation because you don't respect my decision.

yeah, sometimes is hard to repeat the same answer several times but on the other side I understand that it's difficult to read through more than 6000 (sorry, 7000) posts.

SeerEye and Cashmeer are elaborating a resume of all the thread that will make new visitors more easy to find an answer to their qquestions before they repeat it.

Anyhow our task is to help others to have a better start on FX than we had.

RIGHT ON!!!! What MT4 calls EA is essentially mechanical trading systems. To me, it has been proven that such endeavor is futile and a failure. I used to write hundreds of such mechanical trading systems on TradeStation 2000i for bank dealers such as Citibank, Bank Of China (GTC). I had no choice because that was part of my job for the bankrupted Telerate data vendor. Of course, I fully understood that these are all garbarge as I had already backtested and forward tested lots of mechanical trading systems over the years. They ALL failed in big time. Fully agreed with you Cobra, market feelings are one of the most powerful 'indicators' to a trader.

There is a way to let EA's working for you but every EA works on different market conditions and you as the trader need to detect that condition (Ronald Raygun, whom I respect a lot when it comes to EA's, works like that) to let the soldiers (EA's) go in the war, but now my question: If you have enough knowledge and feeling to trigger the market condition, that can change any minute, for what you need the EA's ?

Does that really work?

The market condition can change at any time and if you aren't glued to your EA you can lose what you cashed before.

Think there was a reply on here once about how long it took to read x amount of posts per hour but don't remember what the exact value was. Got some reading ahead of you though.

Done, all updated.

Don't forget, I have been with this group since the early start, so it is always refreshing to see some new stuff added.

As for one, I am using the Gann since years, NEVER thought about changing the 10 setting to a lower on, suddenly in all the posts I had to go through, that number got changed 2x and I like the result.

NEVER too old to learn.

Simple reason I am not signing THV Trader in my signature is because I am a COG trader and use Pip Range Bar Charts for entry and exit.

BUT........no trader should EVER depend on only one system.

THV is a wonderful system and there is more in the pipeline to make it even better. Time will tell

Edit your THV3 Trix and scroll down to the very bottom of the Inputs page...increase the value of the num_bars.

You may want to try the "Gann high low indicator" that I added in this screenshot to my E/Y scalp template. Please try it on the simulator to get customed to his behavior.

Note that scalp trades are very short lived and as less indicators you have as faster you can take your decision.
How to interpret Gann indicator? Does it give signals based on cross with cloud or PA?

All that I can say is that my ea works very greatly...It does not enter market when some conditions are met, for example near sessions opening/closing time, near news releases time and when volumes are low and it places order only when The prices are above (Buy) or below (sell) coral indicator, also it gets confirmation from Trix colors and crosses and with cloud rules as THV used his system initially! All that I can say is that it works great...I am using it for a championship right now. When it's done I will post it here for free with a link to the championship results as proof so as you can see what I am talking about...
