Regarding the code... I have looked and found some that can be reduced, but nothing is standing out as to why trades are missed or not closed. I had some more trades not closed when I got home yesterday. Maybe what Gary said about resetting the indicator values in between times is part of it not trading.

Yes....this broker factor will certainly make testing interesting 
See, going by the prices on my chart, the high for both your 13:00 and 13:30 bar is 1.4422 (same high, equal). Therefore it doesn't qualify as a slingshot (in either the EA or the indicator).
But on your broker platform, the high price of the 13:30 must have been higher than the 13:00 because otherwise you wouldn't have a trade showing as executed. So there definitely IS a difference in price charts between brokers, hence the reason why some of us have trades where others do not - on the same price action.

Thanks for checking that out for us. I am not sure, but a few more trades were missed today again as well. What is funny is that one filter made the trade while another filter did not. I just don't get it

This is why I suggested many moons ago that once we have the EA fixed we all test the different filters using one broker to see which filter(s) combination was best.

I think what Damon means is making the decision to close the trade based on the close of the last bar, not actually closing it then...but I've been known to be wrong.

Here's another thought...
Since Gary and I are on the same platform (ForexMeta) and one of the things you are trying to isolate is the possible differences in brokers, maybe if Gary runs the same mirror as you and I, it would be interesting to see if at least he and I get the same results tommorow. In theory, we should. It might answer some questions for us.
If you agree Gary, see yesterday's posts from Damon and I regarding the mirror settings and match them.

It doesn't matter how long it takes for the next tick really. When the new bar opens, the EA just reads whether the trade was in profit or B/E at the close of the last bar. If it was, it closes the trade where it is. The next tick, could be a minute and that would be fine.

Thanks for the review of the code.....it is a bit of a mystery yet on the close issue. I'm still checking out the resetting of the filter values but nothing definitive yet. The original code provided by Orest was a template he modified to get us started. Parts of that template were not used in this system but is still there. With time we have tested and modified the code a good deal, bits and pieces of each mod are scattered here and there in the code and not causing any problems I know of (most were commented out). I left them in as 'markers' (reminders) to help me remember the changes. This weekend will be a good time to do a little house cleaning.
I do like the idea of multiple testers using the same broker to compare results.

Should be easy to see using the multifilter indie. Both the indie and the ea use the same code to determine the trend. So.....if the indie is showing a long trend, for example, and the slingshot_bar indie is showing a buy signal, you should get a buy triggered. What I've seen, given this example, is the buy is not triggered by the ea. That's what has me puzzled....its the same code determining the trend, therefore it is something in the ea - outside the function calculating the trend - that is why I'm focussed on the effect of resetting the trend to zero in the ea when we are outside the trading window. I don't know why this would make the filter function start from scratch since it was never 'turned off' = a delay as it recalculates the trend. Setting the filter to zero (as a fail safe) is not done by the filter function in the ea, it is done in the function which checks for new trades. Sorry......I'm thinking out loud again (= muttering as the few marbles I have left roll around in the empty space vacated by a once promising mind)............later!

EU 1hr 10GMT trade was not taken for macd filter..., but at 7:00gmt one was taken so there shouldn't be any break in time causing it not to recognize the filter change. Maybe the code that is written for the stoch and macd is not completely correct?

very promising start with v2.12 today. Big block of positives (see my visualized excel sheet) until noon, then huge block of losses at 13:00GMT, all at once. Is it a coincidence, or is it really the NY opening?
It would be interesting to see how market openings and other similar things affect our strategy.
I think visualizing data helps a lot - at least for me, hence my beautiful in-cell bars.
