Dislikedvidal,
I had all single filters and the triple filter ON.
Also, ATR TP and SL were ON.
I hope we'll be able to identify this pattern (if there's any) for both London and NY openings.Ignored

DislikedInspired by the presentation of results by hsa, my results for today are attached. The data shows one trade still opened but as I was typing this it closed. I finished the day at -$6.00![]()

Disliked... I think that when closing a trade, the EA currently reads the open of the new bar. I think that the EA should read the close of the last bar at the open of the new bar and close accoringly. This would have changed the outcome of a few of my losses. If the close of the last bar was B/E or >, then the trade should close at the open of the new bar. I think that the EA reads the open of the new bar and I was at a loss at that point, which I wasn't at the close of the previous bar............Ignored

Very good analyses. Do you want a quick change in the closing as you described below (with a new ea version posted) or do you want to continue testing the current version?

DislikedOkay.... Here I would like to do some analysis.
Here is what trades were supposed to open today based on the slingshot bars v_2 and the filters:
MACD Filter
A short during the 13:30 bar
A short during the 16:30 bar

Neither are slingshot bars and yet you think there should be a short sell on both? Why? I didn't go any further than these first two and I can't see how either would qualify. The 13:30 one never exceeded the high of the prior bar nor does it retrace back through the close of the prior bar. The 16:30 one is an inside bar and never drops below or rises above...Ignored

First, let me be sure I understand what your suggestion is and, second, let me present an issue or two to think about whether the 'positives' of doing this outweights the 'negatives'.
When I read about closing a trade based on a 'profit' calculated at the end of a bar and not the opening of the next bar, here what comes to mind. If price action is brisk and there are lots of ticks with little time between them, then the difference between the close of one bar and the open of the next is generally small (commonly 1 pip). Where I see the...Ignored
