Hi Dave, great calls man.

I follow your thread too ... it is excellent. I'm trying to learn this "wave count puzzle" from your posts ... thanx for bringing the numbers back.

Just an observation. If the 1.1991 breaks, I think we might be headed to the 1.1950 area. The weekly and daily S1 pivot is there. Then, we might see an inverted head-and-shoulders forming (4hr chart).

I wasn't here to take the 2nd entry for 1.2150 cause when it hit my profits it pulled back to 1.2019 so I didn't enter.

That was some crazy price action my s/l came 9 pips away. Well placed.
I will not put a trade in for the weekend. Next week should be very nice if the bullish trend holds.

Nice numbers, Dave.

One of these days I will be available to see these moves and hopefully trade them.

Or did you set an automatic entry and let the market open your trade?

Congratulations, Dave , i am still in, I bought@2005, following your post i placed the same stop loss, this is my best trade. now i raised the sl @2060, 10 pips bellow the weekly pivot, i go for the second target. http://www.forexfactory.com/forexfor...ons/icon12.gif

If I see them ahead of time I place an entry order and let them get picked up along the way. I like placing the entry oeders and will try to do this more often, they usually work out the best. This is because I am calm and emotion free when I place the order. If I manually enter I am subject to procrastination. "mabe it will go lower" or "what if it don't go low enough" Type of thinking. When its an entery order I just wach and cheer it on usually from 4-5 feet away waching T.V. If the stochs/RSI turn the wrong way I might cancle the order.

I'll also place entry orders above and below a range.

This morning I had my order in long and had an entry for 1.1949 short just incase it went that way.

Currently I have an entry for 1.2065 long. its at 1.2078/80 now.
1.2061 is the 38% fibo I think a dip near that will happen befor it continues up. S/L @ 1.2035 just past 50% fibo. I belive once it crosses 50% fibo it targets the low side, reenter when it stops.
Target: 1.2135

Here is a 1 hour chart on my entry order @ 1.2065.

The stochs are over bought and hooking down and RSI is below 60.

This is a perfect looking example of a 1,2,3,4,5,a,b,c wave. Since wave 2 went a,b,c then wave 4 should be 1 sharp correction. But then again it reopens here on sun. Its at 1.2073 now.

I cann't post any more of these clips either. Keeping these 2 basics things in mind will improve any ones trading stradigy.(the e-wave and the M/W) they are one in the same. The m/w happens on the a,b,c corections.
The eur/usd is in a W right now.

A great deal of what I have learned has come from Mark McRae. Read every thing there is on that link you gave I have already. Actually I continue to read it over and over and over.

My s/l is set for 1.2035(just below pivot)

Trade was triggered soon after market open, still holding looking at possible small dip befor going up.
A break past 50% fibo(1.2041) is what I don't want.

Hello Dave,
USD Index seems to be in positive configuration. The currency that would likely weaken against the USD in Asian session is the JPY. More over with oil slightly up, JPY is vulnerable to energy hike. Another negative indice is Japanese's Prime Minister visit today to the war shrine has created a bad economic atmosphere in the region. S.Korean and Chinese could create some surprise for the JPY. Could you please give a short study on the USD/JPY chart and see if something could develop for a sell out of JPY in the next hours.

O well. Looks like it didn't have enough to get to the target 5 pips away.

No profits no losses.

"W" is forming I will post a chart in a few.

If this should hit stop I will reverse order and sell @ 1.1999 target of 1.1950

On the 30 min chart there is a "W" forming.

Even though the price fell below 1.2009 low from yesterday the RSI isn't finding new lows. Indacating there won't be a follow through past 1.2000.

Stochs are over sold and started hooking up. I need more to happen befor I can count these waves.
