Still in a lot of traffic, the size is too small and the swing low can be a lot lower.

I do like the confluences of 50% retrace, RD, and towards the gap.

Possible trade with a very small position.

Very nice CP.
Just make sure that the Open and Close of the Pin Bar (candle) is within the previous bar.

Hi!

4H GPB/USD

Strong S/R around 1.4330.

How high is the probablity that price makes a reasonable retracement (>40pips) in situations like this around the line?

I would like to put a daily chart of GBPUSD
As you can see.. it may be different to your daily chart because open and close times of oanda are different... My question would be. how can this affect to see the pinbars?

also.
look at previous 2 days... two opposite pinbars... mmmm interesting?

ghous,
what instruments are u interested in?
until now, my observation is that WHC has the most instruments, followed by ODL or FXPro.

for WHC MT4, look at:
http://www.whcmarket.ru
http://www.brocompany.ru or
http://www.brocompany.com

TIP: for all MT4 users, to see all tradeable/non-tradeable instruments (non-tradeable instruments are usually colored gray) available in your MT4, be sure to click "Show all". (in the MarketWatch window, right-click on any instrument & the context menu will appear, showing the commands New Order, Chart Window, Tick Chart, Hide etc. Click "Show all")

Basically I was on the lookout for currecy indices, some commodities and equity indices...I need these to create the magic potion

Jig was kind enought to share with me his mt4 broker platforms, I am now excessing all the currency and equity indices through liteforex mt4 and commodities (metals and grains) through XTB trader,

I was asking abt ODL since I thought it had all of this in it's single mt4 platform, just downloaded the platform but don't see all that I need on it...

I also installed Broco mt4 but really Jig's combination impressed me, got exactly what I wanted

Regards,
Ghous.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your quick reply, it's very kind of you !!

ODL is a good broker but unfortunatly, the 'Spread-Betting' plateform doesn't include 'trailing stop' capabilities

I'm going to try Finotec but don't really know if they are reliable ? Any live testimonials on it ?

Cheers

Happy US holiday,

Angel

Can not agree more, Mike's comment is as always concisive and get to the point very precisely.

Mike, simply a quick question, did you ever make a rough estimation approximately how much improvement of winning rate could be achieved comparing trading, say, a Pin Bar straight, vs by judging the quality of the setup in light of the surrounding sentiment? I ask this for the reason I didn't see too much difference between a PA setup vs whatever price action the market gave to me around PPZ. I have no offence here, simply what I obversed so far. talking...

Hey Krue

I think I understand your question. You are saying how much of a difference does it make by judging what is going on around the bar? And it can/will make all the difference in the world. No 2 bars are the same and that is where time and experience will come in and pay off.

Not sure if I read your question correct though

Mike

Hey emda

We have generally all go by the "play it as you see it". So whatever your broker gives just play your charts like that. As price is still the same it is just how it is aggregated.

I personally prefer a close more near NY close time. Oanda closes real late for my liking. So I would simply use whatever is most comfortable to you
