-I have decided to start this thread for two main reasons: 1) I need a journal that help me keep track of my trades. (2) can be read and commented on by everyone here. -The way I intend to run this thread is posting my live trades as soon as I place them. -As for risk management, -- (1) I risk ONLY 10% of my balance on any trade (It may be too much for you). -- (2) I use SL of 30 and TP of 70 pips. -- (3) I use a SL of 50 and TP of 100 on Gbp-Jpy. If you intend to follow my trades it is probably better to start with a demo account and switch to live trading only after you see consistent results. These are my pairs:

- EurUsd.

- GbpUsd.

- UsdChf.

- EurJpy.

- EurGbp.

- GbpJpy.

I opened a demo account of $200 for this purpose--to test my trading system. I will post my trades as soon as i take them.

Hi all. Please i will like someone out there to help me create an Expert Advisor with the following abilities:

1. Move STOP LOSS of ALL open orders to BE+5 @ 30pips profit.
2. Once @ BE+5, move STOP LOSS by 5pips @ every 5pips gain
(not @ every tick gain).
3. Sound alarm @ BE+5.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone. sorry for the long silence. Ihave decided to change my methods to suit my trading style better. This thread is supposed to be under the TRADING SYSTEMS thread but i did like for it to be here so it will serve as my journal. thank you.

The following are the tools i use in this new style.
INDICATORS

50 and 200 EMA apply to close.
MACD 5,13,1
ADX 14 with a 25point level.
TIME FRAME AND CCY

5MINUTES and 1HOUR CHARTS ONLY.
EurUsd for now.
ENTRY RULES
FOR LONGS:

Wait for MACD to be positve and ADX 14 (+DI) to be above the 25 point level on the 1HR CHART.

Switch to the 5MIN CHART to look for a good entry point. Make sure ADX 14 on the 5mins chart is also above the 25 point level, the go long.

FOR SHORTS:

Wait for MACD to be negative and ADX 14 (-DI) to be above the 25 point level on the 1HR CHART.

Switch to the 5MIN CHART to look for a good entry point. Make sure ADX 14 on the 5mins chart is also above the 25 point level, the go short.

STOPS and TAKE PROFIT:

Use the value of the 50 EMA as you stoploss. If its not up to 15pips, then use a 15pips stoploss.

Your take profit is 2x STOPLOSS.
