Nothing you said was wrong in terms of analysis. And it was a good eye to spot the formation.

Take it easy / Chill a bit. People spend years flat broke in University to do something that provides an average enough standard of living.

You cannot expect to have it conquered in a few weeks. . .

EDIT: or even months . . even years probably . .

Sorry missed the post in the Shermenator triumph

umm...as far as IBs go I really don't treat them in pairs just like a BEOB and it's cousin the BUOB, the bullish pin bar and the bearish pin bar...

An IB given that it has a proper shape (the smaller the Ib relative to the previous bar the better) get's traded upon location...

You can trade an IB which closes higher than the open (i assume this is what you're referring to as a bullish IB) on the long side and on the short side, it really depends upon where it occurs... (look at the...

Just update from my previous trade. Currently still holding for my 2nd half.

Eur/Gbp:
Price stalled where expected. We had a inverted PB on the H4 off the minor H4 minor PPZ. I'm going to change my stoploss on the 2nd half to the low of the inverted PB.

Gbp/Chf:
Again. Price stalled where expected. We also have inverted PB on the H4 off minor PPZ. Would be interesting to price break the blue rectangle and retest. On the weekly chart, we are on down trend but currently on the pullback. If the market continues down, would be great. If not, that's where SL is for lol.

Comments pls.

That was a classic J16 "A" trade in my book Jim. I made some solid pips off that one.

At what point did you realize that Price was going to reach that strong resistence level? Or was there a point after the break of the BUOB that told you that level of strong resistence would be reached?

Jim

I think one answer could be once Price broke the 8950ish level (these Lows gold) or the 9000 level, Price had a chance to reach the next level of heavy resistence. (sorry not a current chart.)

e/j, dj - daily pins? we'll see.

It's worth waiting and saving your capital for days like today
Could it be reversal on dow and e/j? let's see.
If interested, here is a little doc with my today's trades (aggressive, yet planned very carefully).

Dow closed above ppz, so I will look forward for dozens PA entries from a daily perspective.

Happy trading.

Also to go along with Mark's bias. If we can get a daily close on uj above 91 there could be a nice move ahead.. she's right there now trying.....

lol... funny you mentioned that Jeff, cause it was very tempting, but using 6% of my account would not be wise , so I had to prioritize and picked the runner instead ... (read: yen)

Thanks for sharing, Rac. I don't post much around here but I'm an avid J16 fan and your posts and always enlightening. I'm starting to think the way you and some others like RustyJeff do in taking trades as they fall into support/resistance, rather then waiting for a break of this trend line or that bar or whatever.

Once again, thanks for sharing. Really appreciate it.
