that is really strange. My FXDD has been working great with no problems. The spreads have not changed since Jan 1st on the demo, 17 pips. I've been live with FXDD (17 pip ) since changing from GAIN (20-50 pips).

Although I do not expect the reaction of the markets to be as wild as the first bailout. The shock is not as great the 2nd time around you must remember the last bailout set record days on a bunch of currencies that are well beyond the range of my EAs.

I managed to get over 1000% in under a month now I'm not upset if I blow it trying to trade this. Yesterday was a big newsday to and had a little bear rally at the end of US Session. Was profitable never the less. Just want to see how tough this EA is even with insane risk (1mini per 1000 USD).

Didn't you want to win the King of the Minis Challange? Maybe you should give it a try with MM to 1 and Risk to 100 that's what got me >1000% in the last weeks without blowing it and not stopping it for news events.

You change the numbers in red. The + number is above the MA, the - number is below the MA. You will also need to change all the numbers on the template MA to see what your changes do on the chart. If you want to change the MA go to Var4 in the code and change the MA and time. Var3 is for the 1H Var4 is for the 5M

As suggested, I changed the numbers in red to “90”s last night. It appears that “Sell” order had been placed instead of “Buy” entry this morning. I am using FXDD MT4 platform.

What should I do to make the EA work properly? I’d like to hear about the optimal settings for the EA.

US Session has been pretty calm.
I'm afraid that in fact you will rarely see any
trade opportunities if you don't trade small news even
that will push price inside the trade zones.
Otherwise price will just stay in the no trade zone.

1:30h until NZD News. Maybe this will give us a trade as we are
already close to the trade zone.

The only time you'll get the normal 14 pip spread is usually during the London session. Otherwise, you can expect up to 50 pip widening of the spread ...

Hi Nanningbob

I have followed this tread for 2 mths now. I'm running you EA. 2 questions:
1. when selecting the 35x20 profile, it stays on the blue'ish screen "Awaiting Updates"
2. I have the Sell robot activiated, does this mean the I have to manually change to the buy EA? if so, when and how do I know when to do that.

Great EA, only 4 loses for Jan + Feb.

I'm back. The house is built, we close on the 27th. The week after, I will be super busy, but I'm back in the game. I now have several hours a week to devote to this. I'm currently catching up on all the new developments and running my demos again.
What makes me go "mhhhhh" is why didn't the EA open more trades where i went down pretty deep into the last red MA? Max Trades is set to 5.
Maybe it wasn't that bad it hadn't decided to open 2 additional positions.
Even that didn't blow up my account. So what will. Floating loss was not super big at that time.

Haha, who knows... its not so much the spike but if the numbers case it to trend for a while during the aussy session that is more troublesome.
I'd love a spike or even a trend with alot of reversals. Everything that makes the EA make money. Like I said if nothing is happening news wise you will rarely see Trades because the EA will just stay on Stand By on the Median MA.

When this pair starts trending, it sucks ... If you have a Long position open and spikes in your favor, it's great. If you have a Short position open and spikes downward, it still sucks because the broker will widen the spread by a gazillion pips, therefore can never hit your T/P ...
Market was very trendy after 14th of January. Still made alot of money even with crazy risk it didn't blow up even though we had an extraordinary trend.
It's a decent spike from this Retail Sales data .... Now, I'm hoping it will plunge back down just as hard ....

It dropped back down around 60 pips at it's peak, but cannot hit my T/P because IBFX widened their spread by 40+ pips for a longass time ...
Pff stop blaming everything on IBFX. What do you think is the purpose of widening Spreads on Demo accounts so it does not hit the TPs? Off course spreads will get horrible after after NY closes. That's the nature of the market.

It's a live account, not demo. Yeah, I'm trying my best not to blame IBFX, but it gets so annoying sometimes I just need to blame them ...
