Ok, here goes nothing. I've been trading for about 3 years with mixed results. This is my attempt to push through mediocre results into full time trading within the next year.

Inspired by Spongebob's VS GBP/JPY Journal
but using the first two hours of the trading week rather than year.
See attached image for setup.

MM)
4hr) Max risk per lot is 1%. Usually I trade two lots per position so max risk of 2%

First trade on a currency pair is 0.5% per lot or 1% per trade
If it's a losing trade the next trade for same currency is 1.3% (0.65% per lot)
Next is 1.6% (.8% per lot)
and finally 2% per trade (1% per lot)
It remains at 2% until I have a winning trade. So far I have not had 4 losses in a row.


Results:
February: +440

Short GBP/JPY 1.35044 --> SL set to +5

Some really nice setups earlier but missed out on them.
Currently looking to see if 60MA holds for a short on the EUR/JPY

4hr) - both orders stopped out. Two lots on each pair.

GBP/JPY: +6 and +7
EUR/USD: +4.5 and +4.5
Total: +22

Days not over but at least it's good to start on a positive.

2nd Lot SL set to +5


5min) EUR/JPY edging towards R1. Could be a trade if it breaks here or if it bounces off on the retrace.

Well, I'm done for the night.

EUR/USD lot 2 up 80 pips but I'm going to let it run or SL at +15

Update: EUR/USD stopped out at +13 pips.

Due to my hesitation at entering these trades I am reducing risk to 0.25% per trade on the 5min TF.

This week is over for the 4hr TF. Up about 4%, happy with that so I'll start again early Mon morning.

I'm still working on the 5min TF and I'm determined to pull back those lost 24 pips. See if I can do it by Fri...

Oh crap! Just got a signal to go long EUR/USD on MT4 went to Oanda to enter trade and realised too late that I still had it on GBP/JPY!

Note to self: ALWAYS check what currency your trading in!!!

I placed my orders too close to the zone and GPB/JPY got taken out too early. Next time I allow 10 pips to allow for spread and a bit of additional movement.

Anyway it got stopped so I start the week with

Not such a good start for the week.
Hopefully upwards from here.

To increase profitability I am increasing position sizes after every losing trade to a maximum of 2%.

After another couple of losses on the GBP/JPY I am closing this thread and after some testing coming back with jeffpips journal v2.0 soon.
