Great training last night Justin, navigation seems like a decent platform never looked at it before but figured worth a shot until MT4 thanks!

Hey Doc,

Thanks for the message, I'm happy to hear you could join us last night.

The Navigator is great....sure is a bit complicated at first, but it's a sophisticated trading platform and I think once traders take the time to learn about all of its capabilities and how to properly set it up to fit their trading style, they usually end up loving it.

Very True once figuered out, really quite simple and many options...But MT4 will be wonderful for EA's when away from the computer (Yeah, it's old..but I cannot wait for MT4 w/ a REPUTABLE broker!! Kudos MB! )

HI Justin, does all this MT4 thing also mean i can now get data for my Ninjatrader from you guys (might come back and start trading with MB again !)

I know for sure you can through the MT4 DDE. It will be interesting to hear if you can by a backfill feed, with them

Any plan on lowering forex commissions?
I cannot question the quality, but you aren't very competitive at moment, isn't it?

I thought I read somewhere in the thread about how high-volume traders can get a different commission rate, but I can't find the post on who to contact about the details. Can you point me to the right direction?

I believe there is a limited amount of back data in Ninja -I've attached the connection instructions for you to take a look at.

Actually, I’m not sure that I would agree with that statement, nor would a lot of our traders, and let me explain why. First of all, obviously, most firms are really deal desks, even some of the ones that claim not to be. I think it goes without saying that we are far more “competitive” than those firms because in the end, they get you with slippage and downtime and bad fills and lack of order control. Second, there are certainly firms that seem to be trying to provide a platform that is truly level and fair to all and charge a commission, like ours. Our commissions may be on the high side of those brokers, but I would argue that our liquidity is greater and our spreads better on average, which means that your net execution pricing should be, I’ll phrase it like it, “highly-competitive” against those brokers. In addition, we offer a lot of services like our MBT Research that people love, plus all of our third parties, educational resources, and now, Metatrader is coming, which is something that none of the other non-deal desk platforms have managed to connect with. So, my point would be, you can find a broker whose headline “commission” rate is lower than ours, but I’m not sure that they provide you with all of the extras that we do, nor am I convinced (and many customers have told us this through thorough testing) that your net pricing is better over time. But, you have to make your own decisions on what style of trading you do. In addition, if you are a volume trader, don’t forget to ask about our volume pricing, because we can offer a lower rate to traders doing significant monthly volume.

Hi Brent,

You'll have to have the Beta Navigator downloaded and then go to Navigate - from there you'll see 'Tool', 'MB Research' & 'Morning Notes'.

Morning Notes should be available each day @ 5:30 AM EST and Research is available 24 hours a day, but receives updates throughout the regular trading hours.

Is the Beta Navigator available for download and live trading? I can wait but just wanted to take a look at it.

By the way I've been using the TTO's all week and it works great! The more I use Navigator the more I find...and like.
