EURUSD is resisting on 1.2850 (H1). Lower Bollinger band is wide open on H4... I might enter short at 1.2850, targetting 1.2725.

Hi Siam

Perhaps you can answer a long running question for me.

I see you use UK brokers. I am concerned the misalignment of my 4hr charts GMT with traders in the US weakens the impact of any 4hr PA I use. I have been tempted to run a US package in the NY session.

What are your thoughts?

Just as a note, sorry for interfering . But I use IBFX and they are US based, but they still use GMT. I don't think EST is so widely used.

Hi,

I'm not sure if it would make that much difference on 4hr and above. Maybe if you were scalping on the lower time frames it would be noticed.
I'm not really around during the US ses so sorry i can't be more help.

And always remember it is never too early.

Only 1h charts are aligned all around the world, US EST 4h closes are one hour out from ours(-5hrs) and daily closes are -5hrs.

Europe will also have different 4h closes (+1).

I think I'll take another short on EURUSD at 1.2930... Not sure. And CAD has another possible long in 1.2225-1.2170. I'll be cautious about these, as I traded them yesterday also.

Took this one with a tight stop. After such a drop and a little stall near the previous low which coincides nicely on H4 I thought it was worth getting in since it was no longer plowing down so hard.

Cool. Nice one . I was thinking of getting in, but I hesitated. Have some limit orders on the EU and I'm also watching NZDUSD for a possible short (manually).

The CAD just started going up almost +30 now....and to think I was in bed and just got up to see how the EUR USD long was going because I couldn't sleep. Might as well stay up and go to work, my alarm goes off in 20 minutes.

Thanks. Good luck to you too! I am basing it all on supply and demand, no fibs for me till I learn this

Edit: I secured mine on breakeven. Don't like how it looks.

yes, it is a confluence of 61.8 fib and 50 fib, it is also a previous swing high (at least seen in M15)

but I am still holding my short, I think that a stop above 90 is pretty safe as I see supply there.

I think this will be fine. as EURUSD is heading for 1.2930 supply, the USD is losing a bit of strength.

lol im in this trade as well....but moved my sl to fast so i got stopped out with 10 pip.....

also took the usd/chf trade 1,1640 level..
time for lunch...
