I'm on the pip roller-coaster. Took 35 pips partial on USDCAD and 28 on EURUSD short. I'm letting the rest ride to supply/demand.

Alright guys great trading ...this is my last trade for the day since I will call it a day since I am tired will leave my oil trade running at break even took profits already

Keep that one tight because the bucket is a correction after a change in sentiment toward the BOE rate tomorrow. As with the last visit to this level it could get stuck there a while.

RC, could you explain your reasoning behind this? Was it just a bounce off the same high as from Friday? I don't see any fib confluence quite that low.

Also, the high on Alpari shows 145792, so depending on spread could have stopped out with a 40 SL. Close one!

Fast moving pairs need to show signs of reversal at s/r for me to enter I wouldn't put an order on.
It was a manual entry as the 3:00GMT 1h candle closed below my s/r of 14548 so the high didn't affect me.

However the fact that I didn't leave anything on it affects me as it has just made 80+.

Wow. Just came back from a good sleep and looking at my two trades on EURUSD (short 1.2915) and USDCAD (long 1.2231) I see how impatient I was to close them on 20 pips, when I had SL on breakeven and there was no danger... If I would have left them touch my take profit levels, I would have a total of 200 pips just on those two trades and 305 pips just today. But I am glad that the levels I picked were great and I have a lot more confidence after today.

Anyway, I won 5% of my account's total value and I guess that is a huge gain in just one day. If I could do that each day, I would double my account each month. So, let's not make this longer than it should, LOL. THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME SO FAR! (and I realise I will still be needing your help and advice)

So you only take manual orders on pairs like GBPUSD?

I was also affected by not leaving anything on the EURUSD and USDCAD trades. They would have been nice for 100 pips each (and I did have those TP set)

Thanks, cliff. Sorry I didn't answer, I didn't see your message. Well, It would have definately affected my thinking before, but now it really doesn't. I finally came to the point when I realised that the only obstacle between me and the money is... ME! If I want to stay in this in the long run, I need to stick to solid money management rules. I got burnt so many times because I didn't stick to my rules. It's time I did...
