How can you make a decision based on that mess. You need to edit the indies to make them look like mine or whatever you like. I only use the pivots on smaller timeframes. I also plugged in the aoSignalall

the fozzy signal is short, but.....isn't it too close to the tunnel to take it?

This is just to make sure that i have not lost my fozzy-eyes after my time away. I have decided to trade the following pairs: US/CH, US/JP, EUR/CH, GB/US, EUR/US, AUD/US, US/CAD.

No signals were generated today ...right?

Hey all,

Been following the thread. By far, the best system i've come across in a while, simple, and especially, don't have to be glued to the screen.

A few comments. Has anyone decided to create a blog-forum-website to post daily fozzy crosses? The thread on this forum that was dedicated to such an endeavour seems to have died.

Secondly, to answer Alcastro, I would tentatively trade short on Usd-Chf and Usd-Cad....RSI has crossed down below MA under the 50 line....but I would take profit in the 20-30 pip range.

Another question....what to do with AUD-USD, GBP-USD and EUR-USD? Their RSIs have crossed long ago...are they out of steam?...I use a rainbow of 4 MA (5,12,18,28), and it's still running up...just throwing the question out there...

@alcastro, i only monitor eur/usd, gbp/usd, usd/yen and usd/chf. so far no new signal yet. might have to wait a few more day probably.

@babaganouj, yes rsi crossed had been a long2 time, better stay with it until it reverse, or if not comfortable, can take profit now. not sure if market is out of steam now, as these days market are driven by news.

personally, i might try to enter short e/u and g/u in the next few days, but not sure if i can catch the market top.

I do not have a short signal yet in the Us/Ch (RSI has not crossed the MA). And I am afraid that the can has run out of steam after such big runs in the last 2 days. So I am skipping this one.

Al...............when I took this short, the price was 100 pips above the Tunnel, plenty of room for a cautious trade against the BIG trend. I traded two lots with t/p's of 50 and 100. I wish I had traded three lots because the third trade would have earned me another 150 pips. But....no complaints, this was a very nice Fozzy trade!

libertao I'm no expert in fozzi but the idea is to sell when the rsi is hedding downwards and crosses 8ma in the upper bollinger zone or above 50

It may very well be a classic Fozzy signal, I'm just referring to the general feeling that you should avoid trading against a strong trend (which this may not be, but it seemed that way to me) as well as Willf's modification (which I had the impression was fairly popular in this thread) as a sidenote. By all means though, I'm not saying you are right or wrong, just making an observation.

Hi cool..............

Yes, Solar Wind. I use this indicator for current trend direction and avoid trading "against" it. On the chart I posted you can see how it agreed with several Fozzy signals, nice confirmation. Without that confirmation, I will usually pass on a trade. I especially like when the slope is strong and it is about to cross or has just crossed the center line and changed color. But be careful with backtesting because it will "repaint". It took me a while to get a "feel" for how it performs with the Fozzy. Do some experimenting for yourself. Cheers!
