5 pips TS is pretty tight even for M5, as it is close to the usual fluctuation... unless you take a trade that breaks out. I use 15 pips (10 could also work but haven't tested yet) or place stop at BE when it has gone at least 12 pips in my direction, depending on the volatility and the entry.

Would you mind sharing what exact rules you are following to scalp the 1min?
basically, I'm doing everything cobra, the team and most experienced traders had already said. I draw trendlines, keep an eye in 1M, 5M and 15M (for stronger view of the trend). Watch for channels, especially in higher timeframes like 4H, major S&R, psych levels, fibs (altough I rarely pay atention to them) never trade 1M if the trix in 5M doesn't agree. DIVERGENCES. They made me lot of money today.
Cobra said in THV manual about this thing too, if trix in 5M is in overbought/oversold territory, go to 1M chart and look for quick setup, very accurate.
My only loss today was because I did something VERY stupid, I shorted before 1.3000 (strong psych level) was broken, of course it barely touched and bounced back.
Of course not forgeting decent MM (1~2% max on every trade)...focus, and patience, lots of patience. You have to be the sniper in this game, not the guy with a shotgun shooting everything that moves.

You definately did very well....and thanks for the kind explanation. That will help me tomorrow. I've been looking at trendline breaks and think I will stick to the rule of waiting for a re-test of the trendline/pullback before look for the right signal and take a trade...
I posted a chart earlier today of a nice trendline break...although on the m5 you couldn't see the pullback clearly, there was almost a 25pip retracement near the original Trendline on the m1 chart, and after that a nice long move which if held in, resulted in +100 pips...
Shame i could not take the trade for myself as it was right under the R1. This was on Gu m5 by the way

i am new to FX and i joined IBFX last month... i had been searching & searching for the best system here since weeks !!!
now i found this THX system and will gonna give a try on it !!!
Do yourself a favor and read the manual and thread as much as you can, there are very helpfull hints and tricks (trix, lol).
Any question will be answered here by the team or our hardcore THV traders that already made their homework.
