Jim, Mike, and others,

Thanks so much for 1) starting this forum with such candid explanations and examples of price action, 2) for providing honest information about the private forum (and for starting it!) and giving us free insight to what is available in the pf, 3) for making the pf such a bargain, and 4) for always looking out for our well-being, ie - stressing the value and importance of education before diving into trades with real money as well as learning on longer time frames, where patterns are easier to see and have higher probabilities.

I'm up to post 5310 now, and have lots of notes on posts to reread. From there, I'll be looking into all the guest stuff as well as a few other threads here on ff that deal with money management that have been recommended.

Looking forward to the future!

No, I don't look to pick the best setup out of all of those platforms. I believe you only need just one to base your trades on.

I just like seeing how Price is forming on different time tables. It's no surprise the an A trade will show up on all of them at times.

It's mainly on the Weekly, Daily and 4 hour charts.
Indicators show the past. Price Action "Indicates" the future.

have been following this thead for a few months now after having a 2 year losing streak and having tried countless systems and mehtods.

was doing so well in the demo until I have let a trade run and its wiped out 10% of my account. so annoyed ! just as well its a demo. I had 3 1 hour pinbars fail today. they just don't seem to work as well as daily's

I am now ONLY looking at daily and weekly charts

Hey my friend,

Why not post up some charts on the 1HR Ones that failed so we can all learn ?

Definately best to trade with the Daily / Weekly TF's , you just cannot argue with the consistency of them. Id have a look at the "Minimum Requirements" on the first page of the thread if you have not already, solid advice from a man who knows what he is talking about.

here is a trade i just took and yes sometimes i feel like a gamble but a good one in my eyes. I saw the weekly and my theory is once support now resistance. so entered short. (demo)

Thoughts?

Better wait for price action as you wouldn't know that the resistance could be broken or not. As far as I can see, the price you short has now become support though it's not to the pips. Just MHO. Gamble = short-term you might be lucky, but in long-term, it's no good for you account growth.

Jeesh Jim - thanks for the welcome. ... but 20 pages + in three days, How will I ever catch up with the whole thread.

Yes, I focus on the Philosophy of A+ trades (best advice ever) but with a divergence weighting, helps me keep 90% win rate (ish)

Just fyi, currently looking forward at a pop or plop on Daily / Weekly NZDUSD, but as Jim said, also been doing futures for a good few years ... - Jims way is easier & less stressful simple as that really !

Disclaimer : I rarely ever watch silver and do not live trade it so take this with a grain of salt.

I see a clear (enough) shot up to 13. anyway., Could well retrace back down the bar before going north, Support at 12. Might come down and give it a kiss .. I dont particularly like Bullish bars at highs though to be honest. I'd personally be trying to get in off a lower TF on the retrace down, a decent pinbar off the 1HR at 12. would get my attention.

Just what I see . . .

Your thoughts ?

Pull the trigger when you get price action and location working together.

Can you explain your thought process on why you entered if thats ok ?

James, thank you for sharing more information in the guest area. The work you and Mike do is just amazing. As I have said before, trading has become my optimistic outlook on life. I have little else going for me, but with trading there is a possiblity that someday I might. I might not, but at least it gives me hope, while teaching me to control my own emotions.

If I get this down, and become wealthy, I will owe my enjoyment of life to you two and the other older traders.

Just like you, I don't really like the fact that it's not on a well distinguished swing low, but I do like the location (50 and 38 fib, weekly ppz). I might just follow what you say and watch the smaller timeframes tomorrow. When it comes to outside bars I only take A+ setups because I have found out it doesn't work as good as pinbars.

You can get hold of gbpcad on IBFX Bar times are set to GMT as well which I like.
