i'm using the trading range method with 90/10 boundaries and 15 retrace. everything else is default. i keep getting alerts that say something like 'not enough trades to open a GBP basket', or 'not enough trades to open a JPY basket'. anything wrong?

V4c is attached. I was looking for something else earlier today and noticed that I had offered the option to not use the EA to manage DC trades but not actually coded the rejection.
Re the no-trades thingy, I have been running V4a on a demo from last week and it has taken no fresh trades today.
By contrast, I have been running V4b on a fresh demo set up today, to trial using all three trading methods on the same account. It has taken DC 12 trades so far. Clearly something in the No_Trade_For_X_Bars was suppressing new trades in V4a. Time and close attention to detail will tell whether V4c has solved this; it looks like it but we shall not know for real until a few trades have closed.

There are still people posting here who clearly have not done the reading required to use this EA.
It is a monster. Anybody trying to use it without doing the reading is an idiot.
I will add this one last time. It is no use posting that "...such-and-such is not working. What am I doing wrong?"
I do not know. The EA is working on my platform. If it were not, I would find the offending code and fix it. Unless you supply details, there is nobody in the world who can tell you what the matter is. We need you to supply details of your broker, your set file and a pic of your screen. I have added posts lacking these details to my list of posts to ignore.

I have coded the EA thus:
- Asia - Sydney and Tokyo
- Euro - London
- USA - New York
If this is wrong then somebody better say so.

Ok, so USD/CHF would only be traded between 22-8 GMT (ASIA), correct?
- UseAsiaTimeFilter: filters out JPY, AUD, & NZD triggers.
- UseLondonTimeFilter: filters out EUR, GBP, CHF & CAD triggers
- UseNewYorkTimeFilter: filters out the USD trigger.
This only applies to Range and Original trading.

Everything seems to be working now. Great Job Steve!.
I let it run all day (dc method). It took a number of trades, some I closed earlier while I was at the machine to test the reopen thing.
I just checked now and it was still in two trades each +20ish so closed them and ended up with 195.21 pips for the day. All trades were winners I wasn't watching so not sure what dd was.
I noticed today that an audjpy buy hit its tp just before the two triggers started to move in opposite directions. They have crossed over and the EA is waiting to validate an audjpy sell. It looks as though the EA needs some code to close an open trade when there is a cross in the opposite direction, otherwise a winner could turn into a loser.
The comments in my last para still hold true, but even as I was typing it what passes for my brain was whirring away. The change seemed a little rapid for a D1 chart, so I went back to check. I had put the EA onto a 1H chart by accident. This is the triple-method demo; it has made over 800 pips since firing up yesterday, most of them taken by DC. The overall position was in profit, so I closed the lot and changed to a D1 chart.
Maybe that was just luck. Has anyone tried DC on shorter tf's?
