It is indeed quite possible for a while.
But remember that Forex is a zero sum game. And that there is balance in everything in this world. And especially, that as soon as you think you've got everything figured out, unpredictable situations happen. Be sure to be well prepared on all probable issues, because the leastest that you could imagine, can happen.

Let's say that, if scalping, 90-95% wins is equivalent to a 100%.
That's indeed close enough.

The new trix has other settings, the actual fast T3 is eliminated.

i think i'm done with the crosses. down 15 pips. too many variables. and trying to watch two different currency pairs to see if the cross matches up is a lot of work. will try to get the 15 pips from the e/u.

If fear (or greed) comes into the picture, do nothing with that button.
Turn off the computer, take a walk, and come back refreshed.
And, first of all, go over those 2 losses and figure out what happened so you don't repeat the experience.

i also don't trade a flat coral. i think that is the indicator of a flat market. regardless of what the hull says.

That means you would be earning 3% per day, 15% per week, 60% per month!

Most people could easily live on that, even with a small account!

I would take those results in a heartbeat. I don't need anything close to 100% winners.
correct. MM is key. I believe anything above 60% is good

so far this week I had 7 trades, 6 winners 1 loser

that's 85%

of course it is a very small amount of trades, and possibly with more and more trades if I can manage to get around 65~70% accuracy I'll be happy.

But still a good result.

I think we will be ready, after forward testing it well, to post it next wednesday.

You are not alone. This week is not turning out too good for me (yet). That is the unpredictable aspect Doblece mentioned. On the bright side, no trades = no losses. You have to be comfortable taking a position. #1 rule is preservation of capital.

I have been looking at Hull Replace to use with 1M chart. I noticed that it never really goes above or below the cloud like Coral. However it does go above or below the T3. Since I did not work with THV1, can somebody tell me if this is expected behaviour of Hull Replace. In this case we take trade when Hull Replace cross T3, and Trix?

In THV1, PA and T3 had to cross the Hull and Cloud. Additionally, the color and direction of the Hull should match the direction of the trade to be taken (green for long, red for short, yellow no trade).

Yes, but right now I see divergence on the 5M. It may stall for a while and go up or it may reverse.

What I see there in H1, is a slowly ascending sideways move... that can be the retracement to a bearish flag (it's roughly lying at it's 61.8% retracement).

The central pivot has been crossed and indeed it could go higher, but we are in a down channel.

In a shorter TF we're having a slight uptrend (M15 and lower) which could go to the upper trendline of the down move.

The market at this moment is quite slow, though. Not a very good time to be trading, IMO.

For All:-, this is not part of core THV v2 so please dont confuse with THV v2 rules.


But Hull can be above or below the cloud, it does not matter? Also, could confirm if my pivot settings are correct ? 1st setting is 0, second is -5.
This is for a broker in GMT timzone and I want the Pivot settings for NY market time.

I tried again to setup THV on M2 chart, but the pivots does not show up, other than that everything else seems to be okay... Attached is the screen shot, please not ATR is not part of the standard system, I added it for my reference.
