looking at the history, I say,cable might just break through 1.36 and downdown south and it might want to go to 1.0s.history might repeat it self.I wonder why? if the price break the previous support level we are going to see history repeat itself again.can anyone confirm?

Price above 9000 at expiry is profit isn't it? So it should stay above until after?

This could be a wild goose chase as I've said before I don't trade the news I just stay aware of what might mess up my plans.

the option thing is amazing.exactly 3pm gmt,the usdyen fell 32 pips from 90.16 but retracing back up.could it be the resistance at 90.13-16 or purely the option expiry

I had a limit sell at 90.15, it was a true no-brainer; a daily level on a 'spike' bar, stochastics were overbought on the H1, and on H1 from the 14th to today, we were setting up very nicely for an inverted U where downward action accelerates away from the last trendline.

I only had a target of 89.25 though, and wasn't able to monitor the position to see it speed right through there. Had no idea there was options expiry today either lol.

Brilliant to have that set up even without the news, well done smittens.

I also had a TP in at 8916, still gotta be happy with that under the circumstances.

I have been following your thread and studying the nobrainer site. Great work this morning. See some grabed quick 100 jpy drop.

Just trying to see how many here are full time traders. Hope to poss contrbute in the near future, seems like a great group.

It looks to me from the calendar that these were the option that expired today.

I found explanation of VIX Option, per today's date on the 2009 Options Expiration Calendar (refer below in this thread). However, I can't find anything on VXN or RVX Options. Could anyone enlighten me?

Also, how does one know (or how can one find out) which currency pair/s the various option expiry dates will impact?

VIX Option
What Does VIX Option Mean?
A type of non-equity option that uses the CBOE Volatility Index as the underlying asset.
