I went up to some higher TF's and saw that .9390 would be a significant level but now that you mention the fibb's again I see what you're talking about.

I'm slowly getting into 2009. I don't want to jinx it but....so far this year seems to be more predictable(profitable). I'll try to contribute more to the thread, I guess I hesitate because I've never considered myself a "pro".

None of us are Pros, I just come on here to say what I see and ask the question. Several times I have had a nudge in the right direction from someone on here confirming what I see is right. (or completely wrong!)

I am always aware of upcoming news announcements because it can make a mess of things, but usually only in the short term.

news is always priced in ....only the if the forcast is different you might have a small reaction....news only matters if it can change the sentiment in the market...

It all depends on what timeframes suit you best. I work on 4h 1h so 12955 is in too much traffic for me. 13055 is more interesting.

Levels that hold and those that don't... the eternal question! If we knew that then it would be easy.

In trading we only work on probability, if a level is more significant due to time frame or confluence with another point (TL, Fib, round number) it's probability for holding could be higher.

All the information you need is in BRVs posts and attatchments at the beginning of this thread. Reading the whole thread will also help with answers.

Not much commentary here on the AUD/USD but from a technical basis, there is a really nice setup occurring. Note the historical S/R on the large timeframes at .6324 - .6337 levels and then look at the near-perfect Gartley pattern forming on the daily chart. The Note how all of the swings are right on the Fib ratios. Some would call this a 1-2-3 bottom but to me, Gartley.

SQUAWK reports big option pos - $100b -expires later in NY sessio at 90.
$JPY now in consolid.. will be watching for later breakout to d/s_??

My understanding is that price is squeezed up to 9000 before the expiry.

whr can we get more information about option expiry AND how it affects each currency prior to expiration?

on a side note, 3pm GMT means +0 hours rite?

Thanks SR.

6334 is my next target area on AUDUSD purely from a S/R Fib point of view, so it is interesting to hear further confirmation even though I don't know Gartley.
