Daily pin. Entered based on 1h pin after a pullback to reduce stop loss and got stoplossed. My bias however is still to the upside.. Was this 1hour entry too risky to get involved or not? Not much experience with E/G either. Thanks in advance!

Looks you picked a good entry. The Pin occurs within previous small swing which I would consider range already. So I'd chose a very moderate target, like prev. swing high, and move my SL to BE quick, or even take some profit at Pin high. Not sure when you got into the trade though.

Thanks for the reply. Break of 1h pin was my entry and stop below the same pin bar (just above 9000 level). Now I see that price has found some SUP @ 9000. It didn't give me a chance to go BE. I guess 1H itself IS risky to play with, but would you play this E/G daily pin alone considering the location it's currently in and R:R being close to 1:1 according to my chart analysis..

I wouldn't have taken this Pin as the previous wave wasn't large enough and the first target too close. It can be a good idea to enter from the 1hr, but in this case the 1 hour pin was to close to previous to candles forming kind of railroad track, price didn't have a chance to retrace to get you in at a bargain.

Hi Guys,

Anyone thinking of taking U/J or E/J weekly pins if they break? Or anyone stalking other trades on the weeklies? There were some great A+ trades on weeklies last week, so I am looking at them with renewed enthusiasm! Am trying to develop my discipline so have no traded today yet as no A+ setups on my charts - this is a positive step in my development!

if you're talking about long then yes. I just closed my my intraday shorts since (sunday gap open) on e/j, g/j and looking for a sign of exhaustion to go long uj, ej, gj and gu again

Thaqnks for your reply. What indicatorsinformation do you consider when you look for signs of 'exhaustion'? Do you merely consider the PA?

a bounce forming triple bottom on smaller tf around ppz would be one of them.
