I put the new MT4 on now, but not sure how to update to a new build as you mentioned. Sorry for the confusion... I've traded almost $100,000 USD on MT4 over the past 2 years and never had any trouble with builds or updates until now. Thanks!

Go to Help tab and select about

It will tell you what build you are presently on.

If you downloaded a new copy, chances are it updated automatically.

I am looking for a way to collect/maintain multiple days volumes but I will stick with intraday for now.

you can even go so far as to say that volumes from retail brokers make for a good contrarian indicator. I can't remember the name, but on dailyfx they regularly bring up open interest on fxcm as a very accurate contrarian indicator. not that open interest is the same as volume ncessarily, but you can argue its a aggregated way to look at longer term volume..

Volume shows the activity of traders especially professional money. Volume alone is not enough to show intent of professional money so spread (high -low) of bar and close price combined can give you idea what professional money is doing so trader can follow them.

I've crashed my MT4 with the indicator due to my outdated build. I downloaded the new build, created my new templates, etc. and setup all my charts again. Next I downloaded the indicator and placed it in my indicator folder. I restarted the platform, but cannot find where to find the indicator in my dropdown menus. I go to "insert", then "custom" or "Volumes", but it doesn't seem to show up anywhere. Sorry to be a bother, but am I missing anything? I really want to use this one!

Please download the new version of the indicator from the first post.

Add: Alert feature.
If everyone believes it, it will work.

Hi there, Im a Support-Resistence trader and I think this indicator can help me a lot but is hard to understand how to use it. Is there a simple pdf that explain how to use it?

Put it in the indicators folder of your version 2. then close the MT4 platform and open it back up. This causes the MT4 platform to recognize the ex4 file

Then it will be in your custom indicator list in your navigator in MT4 look in the navigator not the insert at the top. under custom indicators

If you do not see the Navigator, then select view from the top tab and then select Navigator and scroll down thru the list until you find custom indicators.

After attaching the BMC indicator, the data does not appear to be correct.
I'm using FXDD with build 220.
Any ideas ?? Thanks.

It work only with live data.

Alert issue needs to be resolve, please use the first version.
Download it from the first post again.
