Still here. I check in occasionally to see what's going on but on the whole don't post as much as I use to. Been busy with trading and other stuff. How's your trading going?

Been a while since I've updated here. Just checked my last chart and noticed we did start breaking smaller waves up only for them to collapse once again. Here is my updated eurusd 4 hour wave chart. We had a wave collapse, bias is still down. Wait for your pullback then short again

Time for another update on the eurusd pair. On the 4 hour chart we have a confirmed break up on the current wave giving me a bias to the upside. What's also interesting to note is that the daily chart is also showing a wave break up although not yet confirmed. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Hey Zoopy!

I am doing much better now ... I had the worst summer ever - not tradingwise - more concerning my family or rather the relationship to my wife. Well...
But now I am settling into my new role here and I have moved some 300m. My kids seemingly like it this way and so I have more reason to be happy. I am a bit distracted these days, but I try to get back into swing here at FF and also (much faster) with trading.

Update to post#1530. Although euro did proceed with a wave up today, the current wave seems very weak and when you compare it to the previous wave, it's not large in size either. When this happens I ask myself these two questions.

1. Are the waves starting to get shallow? (quite often this results in a reversal)
2. Am I perhaps missing the bigger picture? (ie. am I seeing noise?)

I have included a chart of the current wave analysis. The first wave (green) shows strength up and broke to the upside. However the smaller current wave (white) seems very weak so I had to re-analyze and look at the base of the smaller wave. If we break the base highlighted by the blue bar then chances are we are going to start collapsing waves down again and may even take out 1.2328. NFP is also around the corner so this might be another reason why we are currently whipsawing back and forth.

Well... it's been a while since I've posted here. Haven't had the time for the most part and have had some traders asking me whether my wave analysis was valuable or whether it was worth my time going through the exercise as I did.

Here's my response to those questions. The way I trade to this day when it comes to how I analyze market waves is identical to what I have posted in my journal. Having said that, I want to leave a little food for thought - just something to think about when it comes to waves and momentum.


Sir Isaac Newton's theory of momentum states that an object while set in motion tends to stay in motion. The same applies to markets.

Once price starts to move, it will most likely keep going in that direction

I've wondered how you were doing Zoopy. Sounds like you are still plugging along and that's great. I am getting it down little by little but am profitable still. Not posting in my FF journal as I am keeping books now for the trading business. Good to hear from you bro!
