any body been scalping this 5m channel on the 1m
try check and see how many pips you could have made

I am testing this system on the demo ac today. I traded this on 1m, not all the trades that you show on the 5m but many of those.

btw, please let me know how do you get those arrows on the chart? You put them or its a signal from the system itself?

Yeah, I've been doing that except I just took a counter trend on the 1 min, (divergence) that shaved off some pips...

Hi Cobra thanks for your time ! when i tried to extract the thv2 indicators with WinRar there is a message diagnostics who said " The achive is either in unknow format or damaged " do you know what does that means ?

The most likely cause is that the download was interrupted and should be tried again.

If you refere to the 5M chart, there was S1 in the way up and couldn't get successfully broken, no valid entry.

It's not a foolish question....if you look at the chart that I posted about 4 up..it is the 1 min but you can clearly see that there was a trendline coming down. If you wanted to go long, you should have waited for it to break that trendline, which it never did....that would have prevented you from going long.

I have come to learn that this system REALLY requires the drawing of trendlines....trading without them reduces your edge substantially...

There may have been other reasons not to go long...someone else may comment....


ADD And there you go, the Maestro (Cobra) pointed out another reason no to go long...!

I have posted the 5 min and 1 min below. In this case how do we take the entry. Based on the 5 min or 1 min?

The reason I am asking this is, If we look at the 5 min chart by the time we got a valid entry for going short, there has been already a big drop and from the trix(since it is pointing up), I think we can safely assume that it might retrace. So we might have missed this trade. However on the 1 min, we did get the entry much earlier during the start of the big drop, but at that time it was not a valid entry in 5 min setup.

so how do we trade this?

I have a small problem with the rules.

If you strictly follow them on 5M you are losing a lot of opportunities because mostly in a quick movement the cloud is still on the other side of the Coral.

I’d like to hear your opinions, I would suggest that if the PA and T3 breaks the coral and the cloud is no more far away than one candle length it could be a valid entry.

I have no problem with it because I’m searching the entry in 1M but someone that is new to the system could have these problems.

What do you guys and girls think about it?

Or should we better say that the entry would be valid if 1M rules are complete? that would be added in the manual.

Please watch the PA for some time before suggesting, thanks.

I am glad we did . I am starting live this week, being a newbie myself I am starting with microlots. I am little risk taker, so I would trade 1M probably. But when there is real money on the line, you will never know .

Lets see how things goes.

Cobra, I am taking a look at something different. Bring up two charts, one 5M and a 1M. Then, put the current v2 rules on the 1M. On the 5M, use current v2 rules, but replace the coral with the old hull. You will see then that you miss less entries on the 5M but you are still getting conservative on the 1M. I haven't traded it but just brought up the charts and looked.

Very good suggestion TW,

I mentioned once, some pages before,in a post to Fxairy that I would work on higher TF's with the hull replacement.

I think that everybody has it clear that we look for a signal on our trading TF and as soon as we see a possible trade, we take it on a smaller TF, for example 1H and the trigger is in 5M.

I see constantly that the trade is blocked in the higher trading TF by the Coral, so the idea to use the hull on that TF and the Coral on the trigger TF is a good idea in my opinion.

We should have a look on it for some time to confirm it later on the rules.

Well guys, I think you are right. But we should to test your idea, and what do you think it is necessary to create a new indicator? or transform the old?
