I can see looking on a higher timeframe to see if there is a larger trend, but looking at a lower timeframe to judge a trade makes little sense to me, particularly a bar formation, pin bars, that is traffic by definition.

Yorke Peninsula was great....mainly shore based fishing....bagged some whiting and gars....cleaned up on squid from Wool Bay and Port Giles jetties....went snorkelling with a pod of 6 dolphins in Pondalowie Bay...campground is still closed there...not sure what they are doing to it??

Then went up to Melrose in the Southern Flinders ranges for a few days

snorkelling in Sth Australia - you're a brave man Dave! I kiteboard all the time in Sydney, not sure i'd do it down there though. Still I know the odds are low.
Missing the sun though - Ldn is freezing at the mo

Yeah...I'm hearing you mate...it's always a bit freaky....Pondalowie ain't that far from the Neptune Islands...there are some huge Great Whites out there...part of Jaws was filmed there .....anyhoo I still have all my limbs so it's all good.

This is always fun to read before you go snorkelling

AHH c'mon. down there are allways sharks. They dont all attack. If your good enough to see them just swim at them. It works with Bronzies, Hammerheads, Black & White tips, & Whites. IF your lucky enough to see them first.
Not so effective with Tigers. ie smaller escape time before they come back for dinner. I did this for years & now i'm 40. Still not been eaten. Stung, sliced & bitten yes but I'm still here.

obviously Tgers are only up north in NSW, QLD, northern WA & NT. I have never seen one in SA.

sorry little off topic - - which brings me nicely to this pin on the AUD - will it fill the gap? off weekly PPZ and round number - there is some fib but not drawn from the best place IMO

Well to my fellow Aussies here and to all others too if you're interested...

One of my favourite spots is Wilson's Promontory (southern most tip of Victoria and Australia). But on the subject of sharks, I had friends who used to run the Shallow Inlet caravan park just near the entrance to the "prom". They used to get fisherman staying thee that told them that they frequently employed light aircraft to spot fish from above. Apparently it was a common occurence for the pilots to spot large sharks swimming underneath surfers as they paddled out to catch waves, the surfers being completely oblivious to the dangers that lurked beneath. Suffice to say that I don't think I ever enjoyed surfing as much after hearing that story !!!

ps. I'm currently short on CHFJPY, entered on the break of last weeks' weekly pb, still riding it and trying to stay in as long as possible
pss. Just saw on the evening news that there has been 3 shark attacks in the past 2 days on the east coast (no deaths) !!! Thats those sharks spitting us boney humans out - what shark in their right mind would eat a human when they can have a fat seal !!! yum yum !!

Yes, I mean swim at them, they are instinctual animals & as such do not know what you are. I know its been said many times, but if you dont show fear you wont be eaten.. If you act like food you will... Its true. Look. if you are scared, dont get in the water. Its that simple... Sorry this is not trading. Thanks for the photo Dave, Awesome,, nice........

Well that should say it all.
I have sailed & fished off those beaches & jetties my whole life. I used to live in North Haven on the beach & windsurf everyday. We saw sharks mostly in summer & rarely in winter. But that was only up to 2 mile offshore.

Sorry for the off-subject banter folks.....that photo was taken near Cape Town actually...it's a bloke who runs a charter company out of Gansbaai
...he's pretty amazing the way he interacts with the sharks. I nearly went over there for a couple of months to work as a field research assistant for the White Shark trust a while back....be a great way to fill up a holiday. Out in the boat everyday....cage diving, taking notes, tagging the big buggers, fishing on the way home....ahhhhhh....still might do it if I get some time.

sounds awesome.. I would love to get hold of one of those beautifull animalls.
They are still some of the most pretty & powerfull things in the sea.
oh well.. back to work........
