No John, if today's bar stays within the range of the BEOB it won't be a BUOB it will be an Ib (Inside bar)

Cheers,

Ghous.

Ghous im sorry but it seems confuse with your explanation. Do you mind to share it more with me in here?

Today high is breaking previous daily bars (that i mention as pin) does it means its a confirmation for us to see strong support at 3900 thus we shall see new high?

Yeah, I decided to get in. The location overrode the other factors in the end for me. My first TP is at 1.4140 which occurs with the 50% fib of the small swing down and the previous bar highs. From there I plan to move my other half not to BE, but just down a few pips from where it is currently placed above the high of the pb so that it becomes a free trade. That way I plan to try and ride the other half down rather than cutting it too short. I still think we've got plenty of room to move south for this pair.

Great trading Pie trader!

I personally support the view that Eu is looking to let the bears run wild! this could be a great opportunity to get in fine tuned through a lower tf.

I am not trading till 5th of Jan but if i was trading this was a trade I myself would have taken with a trade plan similiar to yours

Have a good one

Ghous.

Today's bar has not yet broken the previous bar's high John, look at this.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j209/ghous/eu.gif

today's high is clearly below yesterday';s high, and I am not sure what you're referring to as a pb. Is it not the BEOB that you misunderstood as a PB?

As a result of the strong support at 1.39 we may or may not see price higher than yesterday's high (I think that is what you mean by "a new high") leave that for the market to inform you.

you seem pretty confused here, have you gone through the first few pages of this thread?

I did and able to finish it Ghous. Its only im facing confusing in here. I didnt know that you guys are considering long thin wick to determine whether its BeoB or BuoB.

If that so as per my little knowledge, the today bars probably will close higher than previous bars close and it shall be read as BuOB. Plus, its strong support at 3900 that makes me wonder after 5 try do they able to break it to the bottom.

Regards

If you have finished reading the entire thread you should not come up with questions like these, did you understand the material?

We are not using wicks to determice BUOBs and BEOBs and PBs we are looking at the highs, lows, open and close of the bars. go to the early part of the thread dor examples.

Thanks Ghous

I'm only really watching the charts this week as I'm having to work, so while I've got a few spare moments (things are quite easy in this in-between time of year), why not fill it with watching some PA!

I took the daily pb on this pair previously and exited all of my position before the holiday season kicked in, so I've been scouting for a good re-entry point to try and take advantage of what I see as a possible downward continuation. My only trick now (with pips already banked ) is to trail this move down, giving it room to move, but in the same time not handing too much profit back to the market when it does decide to turn. Exits are something I'm really working hard on to try and master. I know everyone is individual in this aspect of trading, and I'm trying to get better at letting my profits run a bit longer - after securing some first and reducing my stop size.

Happy Trading

Don't mind John and I am sorry if that post of mine came across as "arrogant", I had no such intentions.

All I am trying to say is that the questions you're coming up with are far too basic, and have been covered well in detail early in the thread and often on throughout this thread.

If you really have read the entire thread even once with understanding you should know what a BUOB is. If you have'nt there is no need to feel bad or degraded, just go through the thread again so you can understand this better!

Wish you best of luck in your trading,

Regards,
Ghous.

Ghous is the least arrogant guy you could meet! He is extremely helpful to all on this thread, and was only trying to point you in the best direction.
There are many people who go above and beyond the call of duty here at James 16, watch them closely and you "should" do well.

I found this one good setup for going long. I would like to see the current bar close on the upper half at least, strong bullish sign. What do you guys think?

-----------------------------------
For john,

You should look for attachment for this thread. There's a PDF about PA Setup, it explains about BU/BEOB and stuffs like that. Hope it helps.

1.5000 round number could push price down again.

Weekly bars are also very bearish.

not sure if that would be a strong bull sign. It would be just an Ibar. Right now price is between my short, daily TPs and will probably stay there for some time. From a 'micro' point of view, an hourly pb is still valid and a second test (blue rect) of tp2 would be a trigger for my long entry, should I chose to trade in the early EST hours.

Thanks raczekfx, I really like your entry especially 'the touch' kind of entry. Yes it would be just an IB, I dont really mean a strong bull sign but much better if the close is higher. Pardon me if I'm wrong. So, your bias is still short on this one? Still quite bearish in weekly chart.
