About one week after submitting the doc.
after they approve, u will not get the free $100 as it is past the expiry date
you can trade very well with this 100$,
Some tips. Trade pair which take low margin like aud/usd. nzd/usd aud/nzd,
build account slow and increase margin.
Another tip is. don't open pos if you dont have margin. else your pos will get open and immediatly get closed with loss..and margin reduce further.
if account is reduce and you are not able to take further pos on any pair..that time you will be having account balance around 32$
Can we trade with this ? yes trade silver....silver take just 5$ margin but once pos open it take 8$ spread...so total margin block is 8+5= 13$ and you can try your luck on silver...but you should be very smart on trading silver.
Hope this will help who lost 100$ and account is below 50$ and lost hope.

i just saw the ad above from forexclub "how much can you buy with $100". They have a bonus, but i dont know if it is necessary a deposit or can i freeload.

with min. 0.1 lot, sl must be very tight. 1 - 2 losts will near margin call

They actually do allow one to change it to micro. Just did mine today and started trading on it. Had a nice ride down on EU this evening, made 330 pips, that is $33 on top of $100. Let us see what will happen when it is time to withdraw. Fingers crossed.

Obviously, this marketing strategy failed to produce the needed "FRESH FUNDING MONEY" and FXDD is extending the deadline. Why would I be interested in this 3% when Alpari is offering 10%? Tell me how FXDD's 3% is better than Alpari's 10%...

unfortunally FXCM micro accounts needs to have at least $5000 to use MT4. So it is necessary a George Soros performance first.

This sounds correct. You will need to change your name and move from Hungary.
(if you already do not live in hungary, skip to part 2)

Otherwise FXDD's cost of admission is about half on a standard acct.
Much less for micro accounts. They'll be fully NFA registered soon.

The minimum for MT4 at FXCM through Introducing Brokers (most) is only $2,000 USD.

I find it odd too and it's probably a responsible thing to do to dig deeper.
So I did and the response I received the help desk was "soon".
I referred to this news release with my inquiry:

This is 8 months old.

I wonder if the delay could have something to do with the new/upcoming excess capital requirements ?

I contacted NFA directly with this question in Nov 2008, and the reponse was:

"Good Morning,

FxDirectDealer LLC is currently pending as and FCM and NFA Member. There are certain aspects of this firm's application that are still under review. Thank you.

Cynthia D. Morton
[email protected]"

That was it, so basically they said nothing...
mid-December I also jumped on the FXDD bandwagon and got my account approved and set up within appr. 10 working days, i.e. before Christmas.
Then I got a nice email telling me that I would get yet another email within two business days, one that would notify me of when my account was activated. All of this transpired before Christmas, and so far - even after multiple enquiries, my account was NOT activated... It's like having a TV-set that only shows the test pattern on all channels at all times...
FXDD is fine ive been with them for a while, no problems.
