very nice canuckct, i have not yet had the time to digest his new thread on the 2m , but hope too soon. hummmm well 1 sons b-day tomorrow, busy with my 3 boys every day until xmas, then youngest son's b-day the day after xmas, hummmm lol i'll try to find time some where before new years lol

I overslept too for the 2 setup, if I woke up 5 mins earlier....would have called it a week!

Jumped in an e/u short which totally no setup, no rule, random jumping, out with 5 pips, this wake me up completely.....I havent jumped in like this for a long long term

That jump trade has bite me in the ass many times, I'll wait on good set ups

Good stuff, been following your posts with interest for weeks.

I hope you don't regret opening up your journal.

Any reason for dumping the ZLS? I've used it with a QQE on another strategy and really like it.

Or is the ZLS effectively a Stoch hist set to 833?

when the 30 sma was added to the double cci, In looking back at the signals, the crosses of the double cci's 21 entry line and the 30 sma were extremely close to the zero lag stoch. So I felt that both signals were not needed on same chart. any time I feel I can remove something from chart I will. But I do still respect the zero lag stoch, just felt it wasn't needed on my charts anymore.

Can you please explain a bit more about the use of the black sma30 line?
is it a sma on the cci21?
do you use in conjunction to the zer level line?
do you only use it on the crosssings with CCI 21?

that was posted in the fx-50 thread and i liked the signal it was giving. still haven't traded it enough to really have much to say about it. there is more on the specifics of it in the fx-50 thread. sorry, still testing its signals out on entry and exit

So F4,

I see a couple of decision points on your template....as follows:

When the 89CCI is crossing...the trend is changing. Do you ever take the trades on the trend change...if so, it appears that they will be successful if the stoch surpasses the 23.6 level and the 21CCI is greater than the moving average.

You could wait for CCI89 to pass the moving average...

Or you could wait for CCI89 to surpass the 100 level.

The other way to look at the trade is looking for separation in the moving averages....that's an indication.

My other observation is that the successful trades seem to happen when the CCI moving average crosses first...then you can take the trade on the cross of CCI89.

Looking forward to you comments.

woohoo i can post LOL !!!

F4's setings i like the most CCI21/89 with zerolag, but replaced zerolag with the new DoubleWoodyCCI_SMA less indis on my charts

My brain is moving a little slow this morning could you clarify your statement below. Are you stating more successful trades occur when CCI 21 and 30 sma cross first, followed by a CCI 89/30 sma crossing.
