HS in 1 hour chart go up to 137.00 and them down to 133.00

19:39 USD/JPY: BOJ Meeting Coming Up New York, December 17. Last night, Finance Minister Nakagawa said he was ready to act on rapid FX movements. In the past week, the JPY is up about 5% against the USD. By contrast, it is down about 4% against the EUR. This does not overtly suggest that the JPY is overly strong. However, the export sector clearly suffering. The Nikkei is down 0.55% in the past week while the broader, more domestically oriented Topix is actually up about 0.47%. This rise is in sharp contrast to the evidence that the domestic demand is falling and unemployment is rising.
The BOJ will address the fall in demand in a two day meeting starting tomorrow. It may take two days to address all issues including the expected impact of a sizeable but yet-to-be-defined fiscal stimulus. With a BOJ target rate sitting at a lofty 0.30%, BOJ Chief Shirakawa will likely repeat his observation that the economy is weak and drive the conversation toward additional liquidity measures. This will include the outright purchase of commercial paper, increase in the size of long-term government bond purchases, and expansion in the types of collateral it will accept. The two year traded down to a two year low in yield of 0.46%. This compares to US two-year rates at 0.74%. How low did yields go during the first Japanese quantitative easing cycle. Two years yields hit 0.02%. Ten-year yields hit 0.44%. With the Japanese banking system better capitalized today, Japanese yields will not likely revisit these levels. US yields may. An aggressive BOJ act Friday could surprise the markets and help USD/JPY move back above 90.00 before the weekend. [email protected]

normally you would favour a break to the down side but with such a drop

This is just the G/Y hippo smashing along sideways as it gains momentum...a few more flaps of the beast's wings and we should be airborne...just need to get over that tree, a few hunters with rifles and a hungry village first...No worries!

Although I'm not using Karmo and malcolmb's strategies, but I have to admit that their system rocks and seems promissing, and that they never hide the info they have, I'd like to thank both of them for the great effort they do here to help others.

the euro has made a magnificent comeback from that fall... i'm out of words.

i did NOT expect it to make 2000 pips in such a period of time. not only was that bull run strong, it beet the crap out of those MASSIVE bearish monthly candles. it has gained more than 50% of it's loss over the last 4 months in just a little over 2 weeks....

ladies and gentlemen..... welcome to forex... a world that does not include "impossible" in its dictionary...
