i guess they're trying to distract us with the shitty moves on GJ. we're all waiting for a big move on GJ when other pairs AND crosses are actually moving... absolute bull crap...

Yup you always have to be looking at other currencies to see if they have a "hotter hand"

i'm really not sure. the weekly cci30 is poking above the -100 line... i'd be certain it would go down if we close below daily gann.

The USD crumbled further today in NY trading as concerns over exploding US budget deficits led to a further exodus from the greenback. EUR had its’ largest one-day move higher against the USD since its 1999 creation, rising from near 1.4100 to a peak around 1.4440 before falling back into a consolidation range near the highs. USD/JPY also plumbed 13-year lows, falling as low as about 87.15 from NY opening levels around 88.50. Newswires reported a shift from Japan’s Fin. Min. Nakagawa as he indicated that the government is prepared to take steps in the currency market to help the economy, alluding to intervention to sell the JPY and buy other currencies, most likely the USD. Just yesterday, Nakagawa had been quoted as saying he was not considering intervention at the moment. EUR strength was not confined to the USD as EUR/GBP also surged to all-time highs just above 0.9300 on weak employment and retail sales reports out of the UK. Oil prices shrugged off a larger than expected OPEC output cut and briefly dropped below $40/bbl. Oil managed to gain about $1 to just over $44/bbl after OPEC announced a production cut of 4.2 mio barrels per day (BPD), larger than the expected 2 mio bpd cut, but could not sustain those gains in light of falling global demand and prices fell back sharply. US stocks struggled for most of the day, but finished only slightly weaker, with the S&P 500 losing just less than 1%. As a historical footnote, a $2+ bio loss reported by a former US investment bank today put the total of bank losses stemming from the mortgage/credit meltdown to $1 trillion, and the meter is still running

The way I look at it is 30 pips in the bank better than kick in rear end ...lol
