There's no back slapping in here. Just facts.

I have posted many trades that haven't worked out, so yes I would have posted.

Your reading ability is obviously right up there with your use of punctuation and grammar!

Anyone any ideas on todays decending wedge to 9034..
Market scared of intervention? TIC ..FF gives 40 as forecast..

Hey Ho.. as Ive written its broken below.. in at 40 tempted to scalp now up 10.... but will risk a few pips to wait for retest of resistance.****

RC .. I agree .. not very interactive.. then Im not either normally..
December I find always tricky.. Big technical industry plays (dollar long profittaking)related to underlying needs to balance books for eoy. lead to strange (LoL.. arent they all..)moves..

E$.. we seems to be approaching serious LT resistance on big numbers..but today asia bull has been picked up by London bulls and ....??
Top of this must be high 137s.. all getting OB on some TFs...all tha EZ news tomorrow may provide catalyst for a reversal? Feels like market being driven up for a tp dump .. a whos going to blink first play..Covered longs low..and Very tempted to fade in tiny shorts as position play...

come on RC, LIBB you guys..whats your take on market now.. see anything?

I also can't fathom USD/JPY price action..........maybe US$ going to depreciate more against the yen? Can't understand why Japanese dollar appreciate when Tunken came bad too.......

Any insight will be highly appreciated

I stuggle to apply long term sentiment to intraday trading aside from respecting the monthly trend for each pair.

However what I do know is that despite lower volumes in Dec increasing volatility and EOY activity by the big players there are still opportunities this week. I won't be wasting my time after Friday though. Two years ago December was completely flat for me, so last year I had a longer holiday only to find stacks of potential pips when I looked at my charts again in January.

Trichet's reluctance to lower rates for the next month has been widely reported along with plenty of evidence that EZ hasn't suffered as badly as the US or UK hence the perceived bottoming out of the EURUSD is no surprise. I need to look into how long the upturn could last.

A French Bank is apparently responsible for the rally in Cable this was announced pretty early on by www.ransquawk.com I find them to be on the ball with most of the influential events.

13700 region looks good.
I have 4H s/r at 12697 and 12743 the latter being my 38.2 Fib from the daily chart.

Hi guys. I havent been posting lately because I lost my confidence a little. got 214 pips on this pound tonight though. I was pretty close to pulling the plug actually. I pick my lines really well, predict well, and then usually watch others take the trades I have posted. It just shook me a little trying to just go in and have belief in my lines. A couple of screw ups and I start thinking I have lost my predictive ability. I guess the market has been tough too lately. I read that by Friday liquidity will have dried up. Does anyone know why that will be. Does everyone just shut down for a while. Is there a time to look at closing off so as to avoid thin christmas markets.

Your absence has been noted, it seemed to coincide with my arrival, I hope it wasn't something I said!

While I was monitoring this thread it seemed your input was intelligent, insightful and accurrate. It doesn't come as a surprise that you've had a confidence wobble, we all do. Pulling the trigger is sometimes so hard and the longer you leave it the worse it gets.

Get back on the horse and get posting, this thread needs people like you!

As I mentioned earlier Christmas holidays for me have been quite different the last 2 years but I think general concensus is that trading is likely to be flat from next week until the middle of January due to traders holidays.
Do you think that will stop me from checking my charts? Erm..no.

Don't give up Tori! I think you're one of the best regulars on here! I've also had a few moments these past weeks that made me question myself. I took a little time off, read all the gems of information here and applied it to my trading. I think it shakes anyone up to lose now and then, but if you follow your money management and risk/reward, you'll come out ahead in the longer term.

Exactly.

Also was it BRV that said daily pip targets are not so good for your confidence?

Weekly or monthly targets give me a little more breathing room. i.e. sometimes I don't hit my weekly target until day 4 or 5 but I don't worry too much because I know it is possible to make it in a couple of days. Similarly if I can do it by Tuesday then the rest of the week is relaxed.

Sorry WG went to lunch..Lol..feeling iffy about my Yen short.. PA seems indecisive ..just halfed position now at BE...

thanks guys for the words of encouragement. I really did need a lift. But I am back on the horse and did you see, pound is at my target and I am out. woo hoo. here is my chart for eurjpy if it comes down to my line I will take it up from there.

this is my entrance on eurjpy using five min chart. was not going to come all way back down. I have long target at 126.02. ambitious, so shorter target at 124.60. sorry, line is not in there before I saved chart. we will see huh. anyway, I feel pound is done for now as it had a big run, but I dont really want to take sell and support usd as I just dont feel comfortable with that, so jap can have some of my attention for a little while and see how it goes. If it looks shaky will just get out of it because japs have been pretty strong. think it is time for a little redirection though.

I reckon I deserve a round of applause for such a fine display of impatience. Got in earlier at white line as judged on five min chart, instead of waiting for it to come back down to pink line area which is my solid well thought out line. I know my lines are accurate, and yet impatience gets in the way. Now I am back where I started. Off we go again, this time up.
