DRT, the trades are going with the trend you started on. Is there anything one might consider with the g/u or a/u while we wait to see what takes place with the e/u?
Excellent trade after the moment e/u hit 1.3066 it drops till 1.2990 with your sells you won a lot, didn't you? How much did you put? And your second target? I followed the same movement but time later, let’s see what’s gonna happen with this pair

I put buys in a/u, g/u and e/u when the a/u hit 6520 area and still in them till I see what e/u 3060 going to do.

They all seemed to follow one another and turned.

If we break 3060 Ill be paying extra attention to 3100 area.

I am seeing a possible move down in the EURO during NA although its looking pretty strong now.

Look for a retest of the 1.2954 area

How you know it is huge buy above 1.2736?And the Target 1.3293?

I'm going to have a bash as to why it may have been the case.

i) Both 1.2736 and the 1.3293 (I had 1.3300) are support and resistance.
ii) Price had been building value around the 1.2700 mark for some time.
iii) The previous area of value above doesn't kick in to around 1.3400 mark. 1.3300 would mark the extreme of the bottom of that area, where buying would dry up
iv) There was starting to be some reaction to bad US news (previously we've seen nothing but dollar strength on bad US news, as it prompted a further flight to safety).

Now DRT, feel free to come in and blow all this out the water

I couldnt hold out, maybe its my lack of patience and experience.
Squared most remaining 3270 e/u buys and watching 3280-3300

e/u s-x3- 3324 closed 2 @3300 1 left to run

closed e/u 3290 on move back down from 3324 @ 3300

3324 closed @ 3335 not ready for sell orders just yet reevaluate after session closes.

For EURUSD, here is what I am watching on our last day this week.


Watch the 1.3230 area. I would expect a retest of this level. I am using this a my pivot.


If we hold above then next stop up is 1.3579.
If we move below here, I am expecting a drop down to the 1.2987 area.

If she does move past 3230 Im also watching that 3115 area with interest.

After that move one cant help but to wonder if your counter trend is turning into the beggining of a new trend I suppose by the end of the month we should have some more clues.
I get the feeling I shot myself in the foot by closing all the orders and not leaving any to run.

Thats what I get for being predictictive as I had in my head we were turning right around at 1.3300

Here's a chart that I first posted back in 2005. It may be worth watching as December plays out. On the surface, it looks like we are in an excellent shorting area soon and a move down thru the 1.20 level is materializing for 2009. The flip side is that if we retake the median line, then we could move back up to test the top of the channel.

The uptrend is overwhelmingly catching up. But the market would test bids at lower 1.31s before resuming rally.

Good day DRT. Nice lines you got there I see a huge very symetrical broadening triangle formation on the monthly chart. Both sides are equal in pips. I made a projection of the lower TL that price bounced from now of the upper dotted blue one, and this might be an ascending channel right there. Price channeling towards the broken bullish channels lower TL in red. If price doesnt take out the high of 2004 @ 1.3667 this might be a H&S formation in the making. This is just my ruff imagination though.

Structurally, 1.35 is an area where you will see large orders short anticipating a move to (BELIEVE IT OR NOT) .65. Yes that .65.

I am joining this move for now. So I am short at 1.3535.


On the flip side, if 1.35 holds and we build value above....then look for 1.65

that is one beautiful chart, compared to the ones I see lite up like a christmas tree which is nice for me to look at on christmas day.
As my bias is towards simplicity as im not smart enough to understand all the bells and whistles.
