Hey my Canadian Friend. Your also in Eastern Time. I have no idea what broker you use, but when you look at your clock, the box is drawn from 7am to 9am your time.

First of all, ignore altezza.cl's previous post. Many newbies don't know how to post properly on this forum.

When I trade the system, I use the EMA's 3,5,8,10,12 and 15 colored in yellow (closed) to determine fast trends and EMA's 30,35,40,45, 50 and 60 colored in red (closed) to determine slow trend direction. I look at 1H, 4H, Daily and Weekly trend directions to determine trend direction also.

Now, a word about S/L's ..this is determined by ones account size in their brokerage account. I have a nice size one and my S/L are bigger than most traders. This is why S/L's are difficult to establish and suggested by traders.

This depends on the broker time since they differ between brokers. FXDD is 1400 - 1600.

Thanks, it does help. For now, what works best for me is entering with two lots, one with a profit target of 15 pips and the other with a trailing stop of 15 pips.

Hey my friend... when using lots, consider using 0.10 standard lots for each $1,000 in your account to be on the safe side.

Use my chart to visually check and see where your candles are in reference to mine where the vertical lines cross through. Duplicate the lines and then see what broker times you will use for future box drawings.

Hello:

first thank you for sharing this strategy with us i finshed reading the first pages in the subject and i realy liked the system i tried to add the indicator in the first page to my altrade but it made error and forced the prgram to close many time untill i delted it .. does any one face the smae problem? and is there is something else i need to know like updates or something to the sustem?

I have used this strategy quite successfully on the small live account I use for testing. I think I'm ready to use it on my regular live account (I have about $260,000 in it). For an account that size, what would be the optimal SL to use with this strategy? If I understand you correctly, the SL changes according to the size of the account, so I want to make sure I'm on the same page with you when using the larger account. Thanks again for sharing the system.

i read your last messages and what i like to know is: what is the most importanto, the time hour of the day or the time passed of the US session? Or better saying: should we take day light saving in consideration?

Believe me, I'm not the kind of person who will unnecessarily risk his money. I want to make sure this system will work on my real account; that's why I've asked CTGUY about the stoploss I should use with an account of that size. I will then test the SL he will recommend before starting to use the strategy.

i have got fourth loss by this strategy. Do you think that this strategy work? My stop loss -50-55p.

The thread says 7-9am EST and 14:00 - 16:00 GMT.

7-9am EST = 12:00 - 14:00 GMT

So my question is. Is it 1200 - 1400 GMT or 1400 - 1600 GMT??

Put a SL 100 pips and tp 10 pip. Insane strategy

i put sl at the other end of the channel, set tp for 20 pips, and walk away.... now when i am able to check next, if it hit tp, then all good, if its still in the green, i wait till it hits a profit of 15, change sl to break even, then let it ride, I have had a few 100 pip runs this way..
