I hope the silence here is not because of the -533K jobs lost, which all in all, is the worst part of all...

GM slashed 2,000 jobs as released today...

And "Bush admitted recession" - Yes, that same recession that's around there for 12 months.

The good news is: Obama has a plan to create 2.5 million jobs

The bad news: There is one more NFP before he steps in, so he should be considering 3 million jobs in a just in case scenario...

Promisse of hot weather this weekend, so it's about time I be hitting the ol' dusty trail.

Nice weekend to you brother. Quiet here because people are making money. Thats all, not me though. Dunno why I am always sleepy. I can sleep any day any time any minute. Hot weather, ahoy! I am freezing me tail off here in this cold ass deserted DC. Sucks to be here, its quiet around here too! strange!!

One day, Dave was out raking leaves when he noticed a hearse slowly drive by. Following the first hearse was a second hearse, which was followed by a man walking solemnly along, followed by a dog, and then about 200 men walking in single file.

Intrigued, Dave went up to the man following the second hearse and asked him who was in the first hearse.

“My wife,” the man replied.

“I’m sorry,” said Dave. “What happened to her?”

“My dog bit her and she died.” Dave then asked who was in the second hearse.

Late Friday*, Democratic Congressional leaders moved forward with a plan to provide aid to ailing automakers. The bailout is said to include billions in short-term loans, according to CNBC automotive reporter, Phil LeBeau.

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't been around lately. I stopped trading a few weeks ago. I was too afraid of giving all of my profits back This has been a great year for me and once the Dow failed to break below 8,000 I had a feeling the markets would stop trending so I stopped trading. Plus I want to end the year in profit. I won't tell you how much profit but I am well over 300% for the year. (thats a dramatic understatement but If I told you the truth no one would believe me) Most of my profits came from May until November, all of it being long USD and short GBP, mixed with other currencies. Anyways this was my breakout year. After a few years of break even after cost of living this was one year in which my account really grew.
The keys to my sucess was discipline, discipline, discipline and following the golden rule of trading *Cut your losses short and let your winners ride, and then pyramiding your winners*
I wish all you you happy holidays and a happy new year. I won't be around much for the rest of the year because I am back on vacation enjoying all this fresh snow in the Alps. Take care and I wish you all sucess. It ain't easy but someone has to do it.

Seems like the Big 3 deal is near..

It was $34bn loan that Congress was in doubt if it would be enough.

It's now $15bn in stocks purchase.

It's just me getting bitter and skeptical or the US have gone crazy for good?
