Yeah, lower low on your indicator while price makes higher high.

Great work aediaz1, this is about the most usful thread I have come across on FF. I too like to keep it as simple as possible, the methods you are teaching is what the big players use so why bother to give yourself such a sore head by looking at numerous indicators, just keep it simple.

I have just joined ForexFactory and found your explainations and examples to be very informative. I mainly trade HH, HL, LH and LL with fibonacci which suits my trading style.

I am new to this thread but will be following it very closely since I believe it is only by trading like the big traders that you can be truly profitable in the long-term.
I was just wondering which pairs you guys trade and why?

I focus 7 pairs on daily basis; cable, eur/usd, usd/chf, eur/jpy, usd/jpy, usd/cad and aud/usd.

I don't see any reasons to follow 30 pairs on intra-daily basis since most of those pairs correlate with some of the majors. Second, it doesn't suite me at all.

It's a matter of taste, no-one can tell you what's right or wrong here but I could advice that less is better to start with.

One question : when divergence appear is more strong than another signal ?
in this case breakout appear in same time ?

I use divergence as confluence when ie trading double top/bottoms. I don't see 1 signal stronger than others if I understand your question correctly. Confluence between ie a double top follow by a divergence and a TL break is usually a damn good trade. OF course, its an rare event. Else I would be smoking Cuban cigars in Spain right now.

Posted similar 4hr view here @ Igroks cave a few days ago. Looks like a triangle, but price failed to reach the UTL and is comeing down. I dont follow this pair, just posting what i see.

There is obviously a big difference between drawing trend lines through the highs/lows and the close.
The close appears to be used on this forum but can anyone explain why this is preferred?

I would suggest you to use full price action - means to include the wicks/tails as well.

Your upper TL have only been tested once, as your first point from drawing isn't a LH. Use closing-price and you'll see it.
