Can you also explain what VQ and TDI are. Googling didn't yield any good results that explain these indicators.

Also, could you explain how you personally use them to aid your decision making.

I have attached a version of TDI that I use. In it there are green, red, yellow and then 2 blue lines. I only use the green and red. The other lines, I set to no color. I only enter long if green is over red and this is rising from the 32 area. If not No trade and following the other rules about candle average, timer and cog. I am looking for the vq to give a signal as well. If I go short then I am looking to be coming down from the 68 with the red over green with the same rules applied. I watch for these rules to enter the trades. No trade if these do not all line up. If you look at the eur/usd pic I posted, you will see the tdi coming up on the 32 (35 my chart) vq signals buy and the candle average is .81 with the timer at -.81 and the trade bounces off the cog. This was a reversal but still a good looking trade. You could have pulled 50 pips easy. Just put in stops you are comfortable with. I usually let it hit around the blue and then put a trailing stop so I lock in profits.

A great indicator to use is double woodies cci. It is an incredible indicator but better for longer time frames. I really suggest following the basics of Oan's system and then you have to make choices about anything additional that you want to use to confirm entry or exits. It really is a matter of what your trading style is... I will make one suggestion.... Do not overcrowd your charts with too many indicators. The more I use The worse my results are. Find a few good ones. This makes for easier decisions...

Hi All,
I sent the template and indicators. Just put each where they belong and then open this as Simple Template. The cog is from PO2 and candles and timer from Obama, hopefully best of both. Open on Eur/Usd and see what is there. I think it will be clear for you to see where I take trades. Timer, Candle at .81 and -.81 I have color coded the timer so it is easier to see. Red is sell Etc. Look for the trade to come near the outer edges of the cog. Now you are looking for a reverse in direction with a signal from vq. Red over green for short on tdi or opposite for long. Thats how simple. The vq signal and tdi do not repaint so what you see is what you get. Also, I put in cci woodies (no repaint) in with the candles and timer. It is the red line or green line in the middle. Cci woodies usually looks very different, I am trying to keep a very clean and easy to read chart. I will also suggest that tdi should be rising from 32 for buy or coming down from 68 for a sell. This is just the safest way I take trades. Just another confirmation. I hope You like it. Let me know what You think of this. Any suggestions. I have added and subtracted all of the best known and accurate indicators that I use to the basic Oan template and this is it.

Hi

Thanks for all your diligent work on this system.

I am especially interested in this system to try to break away from the short time frames I have been using, such as 5 min and 1 min scalping systems.

Hopefully, I will be able to use this system on the 4H time frame once I have made the transition.

Just wondering if this is a valid entry and exit on the 4H TF?

Entered SHORT at light blue vertical line, after bounce off blue dotted line, TDI dips under 50 mark, RED over GREEN in downtrend.
EXIT at red vertical line, just before GREEN line intersects RED line on upswing on TDI.
Took 201 pips.

From what I have seen on the USD/JPY and CHF/JPY charts, it seems to work well on them.

Tdi is best explained if you do a search on Dean Malone and the Synergy Trading method. He uses it as an entry indicator. I use it as a confirmation to Oan's great system. Oan's system is great in spotting overheated conditions and the end to reversal's. 201 pips is awesome. Take a look at that same trade in a 1 hour timeframe. Do you see how the tdi comes off of the 68 and then bounces off of the 32. Awesome trade.. Just follow the rules and You can make some nice trades. Candles and timer at .81 and -.81 trade bouncing off cog with vq and tdi as confirmation

Yes, indeed it is an interesting system with uncannily predictive elements to it.

Here is another exceptional entry and exit on the 4H TF which would make 375 pips.

The entry and exits are extremely clear on the 4H.

Your TDI is nothing else then the RSI(13).
You will get the same picture when you place the RSI(13) below the Traders Dynamic Index Visual ! The only difference are the levels 68 and 32 instead of the RSI levels 30 and 70.
