Hi Oan, just want u to know that I been testing your method and its no surprise it work.Still a long way to go.One thing that I learn from this tread and this method is how to be patient.I won't rule that out to be successful and maybe it is one of the key element we must add to the holy grail equation.

Hey guys.

I have gone through and read every post in this thread today and I am VERY impressed with some of the results some guys have posted, I'm just not 100% sure where to start, I have a demo account, started with $5000 and I now have just under $4000 from trying to decide which template etc to use. The ones with the Timer indicator, that always changes around, like when I slide the chart along to look at history I can see the green and blue bars moving up and down, how can this be accurate??

I tried 15M trading, but have now gone back to original H4 to stick to the original strategy.

Which template would be best for H4, that gives solid results? Who else trades H4 with great results? Or are you all trading lower TF?

great results! Can you please share which template you use (and if possible attache it again as there are many templates in this forum) and also elaborate on you entry and more important exit in terms of profit and stop. As I saw you have good exit strategy especiallyin terms of stops.

I had some success with this strategy but I faild in terms of setting the right stops.

Hi Guys

I really want to get a grip of this method but I think this thread is the most cryptic I have tried to master. It,s like trying to solve a chinese puzzle and I aint no good at puzzles
Can any of you more experienced traders who speak good english (no offence meant)try to explain to newbies like me the way the system works.
I can understand the COG indicator but what is the relevance of the candle average and how is it applied to filter the trades.
Also, if this sysytem is such a 'can't lose' system, why did the originator have to add extra indicators? fibs? stochs?
Help!!!!!

Hi,
The Cog, Candles and the Timer all repaint. Also, Some traders like to use the 3 level semafor which also repaints. I think the semafor is not necessary. What you are looking for is all 3 conditions being met. Look at the Cog, Has the price gone as far as it appears to be heading?? Look at the Candle average, Does it meet the conditions?? Look at the timer, Does it meet the conditions?? I really suggest trading with the longer term trend as reversals are short lived. As far as what template to use. This is dependent on your trading style. Do you like to trade on 4Hr charts or do you like to scalp?? What currency do you like to trade?? If you are new then I do not suggest the Gbp/Jpy as you will get burnt and frustrated. Each trader has given feedback as to what has worked for their preferences. I suggest that you open multiple charts and try them all and see what fits your style. Demo trading cost you nothing but time. This is not an overnight process learning to trade. As far as fibs and stochs being added by Oan. These are optional indicators that you will have to decide if you want to use them. I would suggest using them as I feel they are really important but again it is up to you. I am not trying to be vague. Read the thread, Try some setups that have been posted by some members and see what suits you. WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT. GOOD LUCK

Take a look at this chart. At 15:05 the timer was at -.081, The candle was at .81 and the cog had been touched at the bottom. Now, This trade was a reversal but it was a good one. I missed it and took the trade when the trend resumed but in any case this is an example of what you are waiting on.

I m still a newbee and still unqualified to teach anyone for now. But I can say that patience is the key element.I uses the obama template.I m sure you religiously followed the basic rules posted by Oan many times ago.I use the supersignalv3d to hail if there is potential buy or sell but would not execute entry based alone on it.
Once the timer and the candleaverage in their proper positions,AND the price is in the solid lines......hold it until the Stoch is in agreement with all the indicators. What I mean was observe the crossing of the stoch(8,3,3) and as they leave the overbaught sign , only then I enter a trade.The stoch in my opinion is telling me the conviction and the probability wher it will go.All indicatore must be in agreement with other first and the rest is how gutsy you pull the trigger.I enter the trade after the candle closed at the solid line.
Money management is also important its part of the holy grail equation 1%-3% risk taking should be considered before you decide to trade.For now i suggest you take stop loss of 30pips and take profit 50pips and as the trade looks strong ( stoch) enter the trade ( scale) as you go along with your trade.

p.s I almost forgot, I trade 4TF and refer to the lower time frame 30MIN TF to enter.... which ever you prefer.

Which template are you using. I don't have the VOMVS and the arrows from the latest few oan's templates.

Thats true for newcomers GBPJPY is very dangerous, But I have only been trading this pair for nearly three years. I have become use to it now and know very well why they call it the beast.

So Gryphon what template are you using for this pair

I took the cog settings from the PO2 and used it with the obama template and then I added some indicators I prefer. As I posted earlier, You have to use what Oan has provided and then put it together to fit your style. I am trading on 5 minutes at the time but, I use this on longer time frames as well. So, Far I have put together 15 winning trades in a row using this setup. I still will not use it live as I believe that we can all be lucky at times as well. I am still testing.

I was using super signalv3d but they come later than vq. I have attached vq for anyone that is interested. Please for all. Do not just trade off of vq. It is only another indicator to confirm entry.
