Hello, I have been reading through methods here at ff, putting together my own system for sometime. The thing is that none of the indicators do exactly what I want. So I have decided, since I need to learn C++ anyway, to learn MQ4. Can anyone please direct me to any tutorials that they may have used to learn it, any help would be greatly apprietiated.

do you have to know c++ to change an indicator or make it more functionable?
i would like to ad a sound when a certain condition is met to my indicator...
The most important talent to posses if you really want to learn MQL4, or any language for that matter, is the DESIRE to learn and an open mind. A bit of common sense goes a long way too

I have put several free videos on youtube that will teach you the basics. Simply do a search for Mql4 Lesson... or do a search in Google for that matter. PipPip...Jimdandy
It is not about programming, but.....
We need video tutorial about: how to export templates (templates created by myself) from one Metatrader to another, when using Windows 7. It is very tricky, because custom template files are hidden, they are not in Brokers file. It took me long time to figure out, how to do it. Not much information on Internet.
Video would be great...

try to create temporary folder outside from your mt4 folder, then from your mt4 platform re-save your template to that folder. just like that, its always work for me in windows 7.
