Great but in 1min you must have more filters than those mentioned.
my filter is the FXprime system, signals from both systems at the same time gives a very high probability trade but im sure you have other filters ,otherwise the basic conditions of entry are completed almost every time the blue line crosses the HULL with no such good results, so you must have more filters here.(besides pivots,s/r etc.)

Here a small hint to trade the 1M:
On your 5m candlestick chart (HOPE YOU ALWAYS HAVE ONE OPEN) where you draw the tren lines fibs etc. setup a 60 LWMA and trade only long when the price is above the line and vice versa untill the trend changes crossing the 60MA line.

Try to figure out where may be the end of the trend on historical R&S levels and don't trade close to that levels.

That works well in trending market.

Anyone of a techy nature.

I have been using MT4 for a couple of years now and have a fair understanding. I am using it on Build 220 on Vista. Everytime I try to load the template I get a critical error and the application closes.

Any thoughts?

I could post the error codes if anyone can help.

We had that problem with some v220 versions of MT4.
Try to update it to the last version, if that doesn't help try to compile the indicators one by one by hand.

You need to change the pivot indi on all your templates !!!

I'm gonna disapear for a while to get the template corrected with the right pivot indicator.

I was trying the latest SDX V3 indicator and had the same error code that slows down MT4, I changed it to the original THV pivot indicator that you can download here.
Please delete the SDX Tzpivot V3 indicator and replace it with the Fibonacci pivot THV.
The download on my webpage has it included and setup to the actual template.

I hope Traderathome can solve that issue, I really like that SDX pivot indi but we are spending to much time on that instead of trading.

Hi Corbra. I was offline for a while, catching up now. This is excellent testament to the power of the THV system. Thanks for all your replies and lessons. I realized that counter-trend trade and resistance too late.

I have had the same problem and finally I went to my other computer with windows pro,, extracted them, put them in file and emailed to myself the individual files. That worked for me.

I have been having some success with this system but could be better if I quit thinking and anticipating.

I'm (almost) back.

Cobraforex, I placed the last version of SDXPivots and I am not having the error anymore.

It may be that so many versions got mixed up somewhere along the road...

Just be assured that you have set (in the settings) FullLineswithMarginLabels to FALSE. This is the condition which causes the indicator to give the "objectmove" time error.

Anyway we don't need the pivots to go back down to euro's creation

On the other hand, here's the MMPrice modified for FxPro (though I don't think this could be causing any slowdown but as I modified it for myself at the very start, I really don't know.)

If you want the price to show bid/ask colors, just set it to "true" in the properties. If you don't and neither like my hot pink setting for the fixed color, just change it under the "default font color" line. This indicator will show 5 decimals (full FxPro price). You can change the font size as well, I have reduced it because I like it better that way.

Before copying it to your indicators folder, please rename the old one (BOTH exq and mq4) to MMPrice THV.OLD and MMPrice THV.OLX so in case you want to change again you don't lose track of which indicator is what. Don't change the main name though of the present one, as the template won't recognize it under a new name.

When the final updated template is definitive, I could spend some time making several versions for different brokers conditions.

Another good idea is to have all the working indicators in the first post so it's easier to redirect newcomers to the latest versions.

I have just found this system and it looks really promising, can i ask what is the best time frame for trading this?

and for the exit of a buy is it best to get out when the candle changes colour or wait for the pale blue line to cross down through the green hull?

and exit sells vice versa?

Select the indicator in the navigator of your MT4, click and hold left mouse and drag it to the desired indicator window, in this case the Trix window.

Our collective favorite time frame is 5 minute, with 1 minute for entry. However, it can be used on any time frame. For exiting, you can use the rules stated in cobra's first post on this thread or make your own rules. You really have to try it out on demo to see what works for you best, taking into account your risk tolerance and MM. Post your feedback once you have tried it. Good pippin!

Yes, I've seen this one on your website , so simple so great. it is really great for crossing the ma, pullback and then continuing of the trend, less effective in a day like today that is just long long long.
I dont want to be too annoying but can you plz tell us more about trading counter trends and using COG? everything you will contribute from your experience would be awsome.

For the E/U pair I prefere the London open till close, a time that moves usually fast.
Look always at news, it can kill your position if you are still in and the PA goes against you. I try not to have open positions on news time.

The exit depends a bit on your risk appetite and if you see reasons that the price should keep going up you might want to wait till the price cross the aqua T3 line.
