I'll keep the pending order open and see what happens.
I've got a pending order in at 1.2700. Looking for a better price and a bit more retracement.

im with oanda too , but i m with other brokers too , the only way with oanda is to do it manualy

Well I got stopped out for +66 pips on that rapid spike down and back up. Was hoping for a bit more out of that trade to be honest and if it wasn't so late on a Friday I might consider looking for a chance to get back in but I think I’ll leave it for this week!

Hi guys
I am new to this thread and have read the first thirty or so pages (when the E/U was trending up nicely, followed by the huge drop (yee ha) but now we have the ranging consolidation.
So what is Jacko doing now?
Is he sittting it out waiting for a new trend to resume?
Or has he gone over to another trending pair (U/CHF )?
Obviously this system works great in trending market but falls flat in a ranging market
Any of you Jacko guys got any comments?

I think Jacko still believed that eur/usd is still in a down trend because he believed that the current economic situation will get worse before it gets better. I have traded Jacko's style of trading and I could tell you that it worked briliantly.

Personally I think the market tries to break up for a short term rebound but I still believed that the market is still in a down trend.

I'm just a beginner but from past observation this is how I think this week will play out.

Price will continue down until about 2350 where it will then retrace back to 2500 and then continue back down.

I figured this just using fib retracements and expansions and the closest round number to the 50's. Could be very wrong so please dont follow this blindly. I'm putting this here to look at next week and see how far off I was.

possible though I dont know whether it will make it down to 1.2350 - certainly this week should be a turning point as it appears the volatility appears to be subsiding and with the opec meeting likely to cut supply in view of the falling oil prices I think we are headed back into the 1.3500 area pretty soon...one way or the other this week will be important. The overall trend is another matter as I also feel its still down, but a major correction to ride from time to time doesn't hurt

my 2650 sell stop from last week just got filled, put in another sell stop for 2700

we'll see how these play out

I'm in with you at 2700 - came close to getting stopped out a little while ago (2792) but hanging on in there! Looking for the 1 hour pin-bar that appears to be forming to provide the turning point to get this trade into a pip-positive-position!

I see that some of you got in now for a short of EU. I`m just wondering if this is Jacko style? Wouldnt you wait for a confirmation on the continuation of the trend first?

When I draw a trendline on the weekly: Down, Daily: down, but the 4hr chart doesn`t really give me the impression that we are continuing down just yet... Time for a correction?

I don't have a specific TP set - i'm trailing with a Jacko style 100 pip stop but i will be mindful of the bottom of the descending triangle pattern. Price has reacted very quickly to this area lately. That is if price gets there of course. We could well be at a turning point for the Euro but my main thought is that trend remains down, hence a sell near the top of the descending triangle. But we'll see how it goes - at the moment it's getting more and more likely that i'll be stopped out at a loss!!

got it on the teeth as well...managed to get 20 pips back but am waiting to see wth it intends to do..but my i really can't see it going much further before dropping back to 1.24 area...

Should I short at 1.28? Lately it's been a nice resistance level but I'm afraid that it might break it this week before moving back down...

I'm short at 1.2800 too (though it got cut through like butter earlier).....but have a buy stop at 1.2900 as well seeing past years' performance during thanksgiving...but we have to see if ECB will cut rates and what that will bring on the table euro wise...

Fun to watch the behavior around 1.2900. Looks like a fairly good resistance number. It`ll be interesting to see if it`s heading south again now...
