I totally agree, that’s a great way to see the problem. Anyway, whenever a crisis like this one occurs the people who are aware and who did not let the guard down is benefited once it’s all over.

illiquidity , as december approaches , majority of traders close their books for the year...
next best thing to not trading , could be minimum sizing ...

I have been trading for one year plus only..
So need to ask you guys opinion. Is december always the month with lower illiquidity and volume is lower comparing previous month?
Is it due to its near to Long shut down on Christmas yearly? When will it resume ?

I won't trade starting the 22nd and will resume on the 2nd. Not because I'm inherently worried about liquidity (altho that's an issue I suppose) but simply because it's good to take a break now and then.

Pretty much everything in the business world shuts down then too, just try getting anything done between Christmas and New Years... lol.

If you want to think about trading during that time, why not catch up on your reading?
