My demo account has it at 1.2699 and the live account has 1.2703
Rare, my DP is 1.2698, exactly where it bounced away two times, well its Psych number 00 also as well.
I really have no explanation on that.
Do you use the original setup from the first page or did you add anything else?

Thanks everybody for your contribution about the pivot discrepancy. As you can see, there is some reason why some of our pivots are not even close. I am looking into this so please refrain from bugging cobra about it. Doblece, do you have any ideas?

And if in doubt as for setting targets or stops based on PP, or pending orders, always take the smallest option inside the PP area, minus/plus 5 pips, for example.

After i post the las message I was watching.... It's only an idea... Don't you think this diference has to be with the amount of decimals that the broker works.... watch... the broker with 4 decimals has the pp on 1.26691 and the one that works with 4 decimals has it on 1.2699 ... the central part of the decimals looks similar ***69***...
It is only an idea... I'm very new in this and I'm still learning how to use de Mt4.... so I may be wrong... but for u all the experts... have and eye on it ....
Also, and what I think is the problem, the sunday candle will give bad results every monday if taken into account. Check tomorrow for example and you'll see that everything went back to normal...
The "central part" has nothing to do... nor the MT4 version build.
1.26691 = 1.2669 = 30 pips lower than 1.2699...
(beware of visual mind tricks... one can get fooled easily with things like that)I have added a pivot indicator which has the code to avoid sunday bar, maybe someone could recode the needed indicator so it doesn't take it into account.
As a comment, this indicator and THV's Fib Pivots are giving me the same price for the pivot, so I am almost certain that Fib Pivots doesn't take the sunday bar in its calculations.
The problem is if any indicator uses the "Point" into its calculations... on additional decimal brokers "Point" should be replaced with "Point * 10" because what the system interprets as "Point" is the pipette (or fractional pip) so any formula based on "Point" from a normal 4 decimal broker, will give strange results on 5 decimal brokers.
Also, and what I think is the problem, the sunday candle will give bad results every monday if taken into account. Check tomorrow for example and you'll see that everything went back to normal...

Also the timezone of the broker has an influence, as especially the close price won't be the same. On my ODL demo the Pivot also shows at 1.2698 like Cobra's.
ODL has a sunday candle as well as FxPro so this isn't the reason.
ODL prices for friday's candle: open 1.2786 high 1.2798 low 1.2611 close 1.2686
FxPro prices --friday's candle: open 1.2768 high 1.2830 low 1.2572 close 1.2602
With a 80+ pips difference on the close price, plus 30-40 on high and low, no wonder there is a difference also in the pivot...
Anyway on Af's site standard and Fib PP are also at 1.2667.

It is impossible to get THE UNIVERSAL pivot price as this difference among brokers and timezones will always give different results.
The ideal scene would be some website who will analize each and every platform prices and make an average from it... but I'm afraid that they'll only be basing their calculations on their own price feed (most probably directly from the source).
This is why I would like to stress the fact that it isn't a single line price but a ZONE (much like fibs and such, which have the very same problem if compared from one place to another).
You should never try to get an accuracy "to the pip" when fixing targets or stops, there is always a floating margin and as I said before, better to be on the safer side of the range, even if this may mean sacrificing some pips.
Or, you could have several platforms running from the main brokers and make a daily average PP for yourself... but I still don´t see the point you´re trying to make

The formula used in the calculation of Camarilla Pivot Points are:
R4 = C + RANGE * 1.1/2
R3 = C + RANGE * 1.1/4
R2 = C + RANGE * 1.1/6
R1 = C + RANGE * 1.1/12
PP = (HIGH + LOW + CLOSE) / 3
S1 = C - RANGE * 1.1/12
S2 = C - RANGE * 1.1/6
S3 = C - RANGE * 1.1/4
S4 = C - RANGE * 1.1/2
Where R1 through R4 are Resistance levels 1 to 4, PP is the Pivot Point, S1 through S4 are support levels 1 to 4, RANGE is the High minus the Low for the given time frame (usually daily).
